Homeplate

I stopped in here for an Impossible burger with fries and fried pickles. Happy I did. The portions were perfect, price was reasonable and food was tasty. Waitress was sweet also. I would definitely come back here again. The burger was a tad bit overcooked but I was still satisfied with my experience.

Their food is absolutely delicious especially their gold fever tenders and fries. My mom and I can request to make buffalo chicken mac and cheese but with gold fever chicken instead of buffalo and it's really awesome and hopefully can make that an actual dinner plate. Please do try their food. They never fail

We have given this place so many tries because we want to love it but whoever they have cooking, does not know what they are doing. Everything is always over cooked or under cooked. Well here we go again, I Ordered a brunch burger yesterday to pack for today’s lunch and it is COMPLETELY RAW! And the two pizzas Buffalo chicken & their supposed popular sausage pizza but the crust on both was so undercooked it was soggy and floppy. I couldn’t even get it out of the box to cook more because it stuck to it. Big waste of money, we will not be giving this place any more of our money because they not once have ever given me a reason to keep giving them all these chances to do better.

Restaurant is clean and the servers and bartender were very friendly. The food was awful. I ordered fried clam strips dinner. Came with coleslaw and onion rings(my choice). My husband ordered steamers and ended up with a duplicate of my meal. My husband let that slide. The clam strips were too doughy and not cooked enough and the onion rings were so over cooked that we couldn't finish them. We should have said something to the owner as we know him and have talked to him on occasion. We were embarrassed by the meal because we use to go there all the time and never had a complaint. Hoping this was just a one time thing or the cook was just having a bad day. We may go back again and try one more time and see how it goes.

We love Home Plate, but will never go to their breakfast buffet again. $23.99 pp, and they had scrambled eggs, french toast, bacon, ham, roasted potatoes, green beans, chicken broccoli alfredo, haddock, and small cinnamon buns. No stations whatsoever, like carving, omelette, dessert, and Belgian waffles. And juice and milk weren't included in the price! It was an overpriced continental breakfast, but not as tasty. Very disappointed. Rob, not sure what your reply means? Thank you for keeping his review? I'm very confused.
