Bridge View Tavern

Enjoyed our visit! They had much more than just standard pub food and overall it was very good. My fish and chips were 5 stars. My cousins liked their dishes but said they didn't enjoy their meals as much as I did mine. That all said, the service was prompt and attentive without being annoying - and very friendly people - we did not have much of a wait despite them being very busy. Table for four was a little small but we made due. The view from the tavern at night was pretty with the bridge & other lights off in the distance. I'll bet it's nice in the daylight, too! I loved the relaxed & rustic atmosphere!

I stopped in to grab lunch before driving back home to VA. The chicken cutlet pesto sandwich was delicious!! The French fries were seasoned well and crispy ! I didn't sit at the restaurant, as I had my dog waiting for me, but just a short walk down from the tavern is a beautiful waterfront park where I sat and enjoyed my food. The hostess said as I was leaving next time I come around, the patio was pet friendly. I stopped into this restaurant because it was on multiple websites, as a place you need to visit, while visiting Sleepy Hollow.

THE only place to eat and drink around this spectacular historic town. It’s a tradition of mine to visit this fantastic tavern after every visit to Sleepy Hollow, where the pints are great and the food is delicious! Their selection of food and drink is vast and the service couldn’t be nicer. The owner Chris is one of the soundest people you’ll ever meet. It’s not often I’ll leave Scotland and find a place that makes me feel rough at home; this place does just that.

Fantastic place! Great service. PET FRIENDLY! Jellybean the 🐕 had a great time eating in the back area, which had a beer garden style dining room. Great beer variety, delicious food tavern style menu. Bison Burger w bacon jam is a top-tier burger. Nachos are great to share for the table. Definitely will come back to try more. The food here is amazing. The firsh and Chips was so crispy and delicious as well as the fries! Elk burger was cooked to perfection and was one of the most tender burgers I've tried in a while. The staff was friendly as well. Also as a heads up be prepared to wait in person. Come early and don't get hangry waiting!
