We've eaten here many times through the years and although we usually enjoy our experiences that isn't always the case. Fortunately, yesterday's dinner was good from start to finish. When we made a reservation there was a question whether or not we were celebrating an occasion and we were. It was my wife's birthday last Tuesday and my birthday last Friday so, we combined the celebration in one dinner.
We were very pleased to find that the table had been decorated with "Happy Birthday" decorations. That is certainly a new touch for Ruth's Chris and a very nice touch at that. The service was excellent all night and the food was prepared to perfection. The staff didn't need to do any more to get a 5 star review from us, but they concluded the meal with a special dessert for me which took into consideration some dietary restrictions I have.
All in all it was a wonderful way to celebrate our birthdays and we were very happy to have celebrated here.
Loved the food: crispy calamari, caesar salad, petite filet, garlic mashed potatoes & the famous creamed spinach. Along with a wonderful house cabernet made for a great birthday celebration. The service & ambiance made for a definite return visit.

My fiancé booked us reservations for last night for my 40th Birthday. Not only was the food the most delicious meal I’ve ever had, we got there and they sprinkled adorable birthday confetti on our table and just made things so so extra special...best staff ever thank you so very much for making a hard to swallow age a most memorable and delectable experience!!!!! We will be back this spring!
This was my 1st experience at Ruth Chris, and it won't be my last. My husband and I went for my birthday and when we arrived they wished me Happy Birthday by name and the table was decorated with Happy Birthday confetti. Mike our server came over, wished me a Happy Birthday by name again and then introduced himself to us and explained the way the food was prepared and asked if there were any food allergies or dietary concerns. Our food came out cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. At the end if dinner they came out with a Birthday dessert for me again with my name on it. I would have to say this was a great experience and the whole atmosphere was comfortable and the staff were amazing. We can't wait to go back again.

We had a private family party in one of the private rooms and it was perfect. The staff goes out of their way to assure everything is taken care of. I would highly recommend Ruth Chris for an excellent dining experience.
I’ve never had a bad meal here and once again the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The wait staff was amazing!!

We had The table had crab � cakes, porterhouse, filets and chicken all of which were enjoy.
The side orders can easily feed 2-3 people and are served in separate dishes. The sides were spinach(good), Au gratin potatoes have a distinct garlic flavor, shoestring fries were notably good.
The service had 2 mis haps of no printed children's menu and secondly missed a side order. The rest of the service was superlative.
The dessert � � was superlative. The crime brûlée was very praised and the chocolate duo can be split.
Went for a private awards affair with my fiancee. The staff was very attentive and the steak was perfectly cooked. The chocolate bark was also a tasty dessert accompanied by a coconut bread pudding. We will definitely return for dinner and bring our friends.
Will definitely return. My steak was tasty and cooked to perfection. My cocktail was yummy. Our waiter Stefan was the best. Oh, and the bathroom was clean.

A satisfactory dining experience, ordered the time limited 3-course dinner with great flavors all around. Bar area are sometimes noisy with servers knocking plates and stuffs together, but the food can't be denied that are absolutely worth the price tag. A great place to come by on long road trips!
My husband and I had an amazing time at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse.
The steak was one the one the best steak, I had in a long time , well seasoned and juicy whereas the Mac and cheese could have used a bit of seasoning, too bland for my taste. Our server Alfredo was great, he took the time to explain the menu in great details and we were not rushed
another plus my husband got a desert on the house as we were celebrating his birthday which I thought was very lovely

Pricey but worth every penny! Noisy for a week nite. Didn't matter! Food was awesome! Steak...like butter!
It was my first time here. Absolutely loved it. I did not like my lobster tail as it was overcooked. However, do you wait? Just went ahead and made me a brand new one with no issues. It was perfectly cooked the second time. Friendly professional. Great customer service. Would go back there again in a heartbeat. Everything was top notch.

From the moment we were seated, Diego made us feel welcome and attended to our every need throughout the meal. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great recommendations on both food and wine choices.
Diego's warm and friendly demeanor added a personal touch to the dining experience, making us feel valued as customers. He consistently checked on us without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that we were enjoying our meal.

We had a party in a private room with about 34 people and the service we received by Cezar, Mandi & Santiago was incredible ! Very attentive and accommodating with the allergies some of the guests had ! We have no complaints from booking the evening with Catherine to Packing our leftovers with Santiago! Cezar even came in to sing an opera version of happy birthday WE LOVED IT ! My dads 70’s perfect was a perfect surprise. The food was cooked perfectly and it was delicious. Huge Thank you to the Ruth Chris in Tarrytown. The hostess even took our group picture outside before we left :)
I celebrated my birthday here and I have to say this place was very inviting. When we walked in, they were expecting us our table was set. I believe a reservation is needed. The food was ok it wasn't what I thought. I had high expectations regarding the food. I thought my steak would have been bigger, my Lobster Tail was good and sweet. I really didn't need any sauce. My cream spinach was good and my lobster bisque was really good. It was my steak which wasn't cooked the way I asked for it. I asked for medium well, and they made it well done . My steak was simi dry, and it was small. So my expectations were high, but after my experience, I was like ohh ok, this was ok, nothing like the raves that my children had regarding it. I wouldn't come back, but I did enjoy the experience. Our waitress Amanda was amazing. The gentleman that cleaned our table off was really nice and focused.
Chris A. has excellent customer service skills. His over the top table side manners is what will bring us back. We felt very valued here and hope he is our server each time.
I have been visiting Ruth's Chris for many years and it never disappoints. My favorite is Happy Hour in the bar. The atmosphere is so inviting and the food amazing. But the best part is Matt M...he takes such good care of us each and every time!
Matt and Kevin are true gentlemen every time I come here for a work trip dinner, they are the best. They are prompt, respectful, and go above and beyond to make sure each patron enjoys their meal - they deserve raises and bonuses for all that they do. You will get excellent service, a delicious meal, and a great conversation if one of them is serving you.
