Took my wife here for lunch. She is a vegetarian (I am not and she still married me over 20 years ago). I got the Naked Houdini and she got the Merlin. Very good flavor and texture. The teas smell good (though again, I am not a huge tea drinker). This little cafe is worth the drive.
My family and I had an amazing vegan breakfast! Family friendly, courteous staff and delicious food. We'll definitely be back soon!!!
So close to my house, and it took me like 8 years to find this place and visit. First off, it has a nice atmosphere to it. I was ordering take out, so I did not actually sit in the restaurant. They have a nice waiting area where you can wait for your food. Staff was very friendly. I ordered an impossible burger and some sweet potato fries. Excellent meal. Price is just about right. I would like to come back and try some other menu items. This is a vegan place, so no real meat on the menu as far as I could tell. No meat required if all the food is as good as the burger I ate .

New Leaf is the OG of vegan food in the Tampa Bay area. They have the most legit and hearty breakfast food ever and reasonable prices, along with a sincere, unpretentious atmosphere complete with calming bird watching on the tv and rad 80s throwback tunes. We have celebrated our anniversary, my birthday and Christmas dinner here, and hope to make many more memories at the New Leaf Cafe. 💚
The Ballantine was soooo yummy. If it was physically possible to make love to a sandwich, this would be the one. I never knew how badly I needed mojo marinated soy curls in my life. I could eat this sandwich everyday for the rest of eternity. The blood orange coconut refresher was also super delish. Definitely will be back, like tomorrow.
Had the Nekkid Houdini Sandwich, very delicious, recommend the Sweet Potato Bites too! The Ice Cream was yummy too!
While the service was a tad slow the food more than makes it worth it. I am by no means a Vegan. I am a meat eater through and through, but....the impossible burger here? I LOVED it. From the vegan bun to the fake bacon and vegan cheese. This was hands down one of the best burgers I have EVER eaten. The mac and cheese? Delicious..side winder fries yuuumm. I even enjoyed my butterscotch beer soda. I will DEFINITELY be eating here again.
It's my second time here and I just love the Copperfield vegan chicken sandwich...the best one I've tried so far.
This place is a good plant based option I'd highly recommend to anyone who's vegan, vegetarian or flexitarian or wants to cut down on animal protein and animal products..
I went here to pick up a Wish order and decided to get a coffee and a donut to take with me. The coffee was good, filled to the brim but the DONUT, omg soooooo good tasted fresh baked so soft and delicious. I order a maple frosted but there were other varieties. I love to support small businesses and this one deserves it.
This was second time going to New Leaf Cafe and it did not disappoint. So sad that today was their last day of being open. However I will be visiting their new location that is combined with Voodu Vegan Bistro that will be across from Bush Gardens really soon. Thank You for the Wonderful Vegan experience.
