Best Peruvian restaurant in my opinion. This is my 7th restuarant I have tried for Peruvian food and this one by far is the best, ranks number one in my book.
They need to add "aji de gallina" to the menu.
The service was great and the food was even better. Highly recommend to everyone to go and try it!!!
Señor Rocoto’s food was delicious. I would recommend it. Something I didn’t like was that the server was rushing us to place the order, and I wanted to order the appetizer first, then the main dishes, but the server was I recommend you to order everything at once because it would take forever, but it didn’t.
The whole experience was awesome!
Food was super fresh and delicious. Even dessert was great!
The fried rice in my opinion, has too much sesame oil.
Ceviches were amazing. 😍
Servers were so attentive and helpful.
Food was ready super fast.
Sadly is a tiny restaurant, seems to be always packed.
Delicious authentic Peruvian food. Definitely coming back!
This restaurant has been in my list to visit for so long but I always find it crowded. We finally were able to try this place last Friday. Food was really tasty and the portion size was remarkable. This is not a fancy place but a small ordinary joint that serves delicious food for very reasonable price. Try their chicha morada. You will love it🙂
Authentic Peruvian flavors without the plates I tried. If you want a feel-good, heartwarming dish, you can’t go eating with the Sopa de Gallina (chicken soup). Keep in mind that all players are large and 2 people can easily eat from each.
The best Peruvian restaurant by far and the portions are truly amazing!
I love Peruvian food, and I have lived in Peru and the portion of the dishes of the amount of food is exactly how we eat in Peru.
Great customer service! A+
The best value and taste for the money! This place is not your typical restaurant. It’s daily lunch specials are good and cheap (beats all fast food restaurants). The service is quick and on point for its class. So, if you are looking for a 5 star luxury restaurant service like Bern’s Steak House, this is not the place for you. However, if you want good Peruvian food at a fair price, this is the place for you. WARNING: The menu is set in stone just like at a Chinese restaurant and this is not a place to be asking for variations to the menu. The owners are very good people and have been in the restaurant business for over 30 years. Yes, the owner sometimes may not display the best customer service, but remember they reserve the right to provide service. I reviewed some of the negative reviews and as a Peruvian born, I found them baseless. To those, take a trip to Peru and see if you experience better treatment than you have complained about. Overall, this place earns a five star for its class.
food was good and according to a Peruvian friend this is the closest taste for the traditional Peruvian foothat he has been trying here in Tampa, place is little we had to wait for more than 10 minutes to get a table, I tried the Lomo Saltado, the meat was was delicious, they should have more options for salads, customer service was decent.
The ceviche was very good, the Chaufa fried rice was good but not great. The beans that were served with the rice were too bland for my taste. I would come back for the ceviche.
Great authentic Peruvian cuisine, we tried lomo saltado and ceviche with shrimp. It took me back to Lima. My better half who is from Lima loved the food and said it took her back to her childhood. Highly recommended.
