Subway

The staff was friendly. The food was prepared promptly and as ordered. All of the ingredients on the line appeared fresh, and the work area was clean and tidy. The womens bathroom had toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. It appeared to be as clean as possible for what appears to be an older franchise in need of some TLC by the owner. The fountain machine was in need of a deep clean with repairs. However, Pablo, one of the employees, was kind enough to supply us with a bottle of coke at no additional charge. Overall the experience was very good because of the staff.

Jose, the only one working, was the nicest guy. I realized after he made my sandwich that I had left my card at home. I was struggling to set up apple pay while he was helping others make their sandwiches. After a few failed attempts setting it up I told him I'd have to come back to pay for it and that I will pick up the sub then. He very compassionately and nonchalantly offered to pay for my meal and wouldn't take no for an answer. I find it hard in any situation to take something that I did not earn but Jose simply said "There has been plenty of times where someone has helped me when I needed it." I left the store and after a few minutes I came back to repay him. Great experience and what a nice way to find a great person.
