Olga was fantastic, food was all homemade I had the shrimp and grits and grabbed a deviled crab to go. Definitely worth trying. The owner does all the cooking on a well seasoned flat top grill everyone was friendly and smiling. One of those hole in the wall places that does it right. True original

Great, home cooked meal! What a wonderful spot to stop for a quick, satisfying breakfast or lunch. The food is amazing and the staff is attentive and personable. I meant to take a good photo of the food, but once I had a bite it was too late....so clean plates are all I have to share visually.

You have to know that this is an old-school "working class dive", which actually adds to the experience. Family owned and operated and AMAZING food. Crab chowder and grilled fish are beyond amazing.
Have been for breakfast half a dozen times and always the best breakfast. Owner is a super nice guy, gives you the old small town type of vibe still. Not many places like this in Tampa, or any big city...

Best deviled crab! Friends request them when they hear we are picking up some for ourselves. Nothing fancy but the service is awesome and everything else ordered here has been wonderful.
I always walk in to a greeting statement saying “Hello Sugar Lips” not sure how it came about but I highly recommend this place. It’s like you know everyone like you did in High School. They talk crab about everything so enjoy. Oh and the food is good too. The service is always amazing. Now wait It
