Update Jan2019: the service has improved. I had the chicken ramen and if you don’t mind garlic breath, it was excellent!
The service here is mediocre as far as attentive goes. The food is good- we had the pho and sushi and it was delicious.

I discovered this great place while searching GrubHub for delivery. I ordered from them and the sushi was delicious and fresh. Today I went to the restaurant and was really pleased with the service, location and decor. This will definitely become our new sushi spot!
If you get a chance and you're in the neighborhood, stop at Zen Bistro. The staff is great and do everything with a smile. The pork belly buns are amazing. The dishes served are almost to beautiful to eat. The bowls of soup are as delicious as they are gorgeous. You won't be let done at Zen Bistro nor will you break your pocket with high quality food.
Great place when you want to eat out quickly during weekdays. It used to be awesome before they remodeled, since then It never went back to what it was before. Customer service is ok. Food is good! 👍🏻
Went here on my lunch break. Restaurant was empty got seated then took about 10 minutes to be asked what did we want to drink. Food came quick after being ordered. Everything was very fresh and tasted amazing. Menu was extensive with customizable dishes. Service was very slow but the food made up for it. Designate atleast an hour lunch break if you want to come here but the poke bowl is worth it.
Great little place! Had the grilled chicken ramen. I likely won't order the same just because the grilled charred bits from the chicken ended up in the ramen and wasn't a fan of eating those bits with the noodles. The karage wasn't overtly spicy but was still good. It has a decent sized menu so I look forward to trying all new items the next time!

Food was excellent as well... has a lot of signature rolls. You can also ask for handrolls. My fav is the grilled fish cheeks.
Great Sushi at the Zen Bistro Grill and Sushi Bar. Quiet atmosphere and great ambiance. Had a few rolls, sashimi and a delicious Mochi mango ice cream.
Absolutely LOVE this place! I've been coming here for years. The owner is so amazing, and the food is unbelievable! Beyond just the sushi, the ramen is the best I've had in the Tampa area. I also love the mini egg rolls, so tasty and addictive!
Went in for lunch with my wife and ordered ramen, gyoza, pad thai, beef fried rice. Way more than we needed in case one of the dishes came up short. Everything was on point.
The Pad Thai was perfect. Spicy, but not burn your mouth off. Noodles were perfectly cooked.
The ramen was perfect. If you know Buya Ramen in St. Pete, its just as good. Possibly better.
The gyoza was tasty, and the sauce was delicious.
My wife had the beef fried rice, and she was crazy about it.
Passed this place a million times and never went in. This has got to be the biggest secret in Westchase.
Cant wait to go back and try the sushi.
