Pepo's Cafe - Tampa - Photo album

Finding good Cuban food this far north is a good thing. This is no tourist destination and it won't be easy to find as it's not on a major road, but the Northdale community is lucky to have them. The food is authentic, the service is friendly, and the vibe is chill.
Top Spanish food, especially in North Tampa. Cuban sandwich is really good. Be sure you order your Cuban sandwich, "Traditional". If you don't know what this means, then you probably haven't eaten a "real" Cuban sandwich.
AMAZING food!! So fresh and flavorful! Staff were so sweet to explain each dish. Pricing was good. I had the pork, yellow rice/plantains, hubby had Cuban Sandwich w/fries, and son had the chicken quarters /yellow rice. All was on point and yummy! Huge portions!
Delicious Cuban food. I had a hard time deciding what to pick. Will definitely be returning.
The food was pretty good - I had the breaded steak sandwich, and the staff was kind and welcoming. The food did take a decent amount of time to prepare, but that's my only qualm.
Very good Cuban place, the food is very flavorful for a very reasonable price!
I have tried Cubans all over Florida and Pepo's has my favorite, the pulled pork is perfectly tender and seasoned. The bread is always perfectly buttery and pressed. The chicken and rice pudding at this location are also so good. If you are just going for rice pudding though call ahead and ask, some
šŸ¤¤šŸ¤¤ I canā€™t get enough of this place!! Want a full, hearty, home cooked meal?! Stop by and say hello to these awesome ladies who cook with their heart! All the food I have ever had here is phenomenal!! (But Iā€™ve never thought to order egg and bacon sandwiches šŸ§I know their Cuban bread would be worth
I have been coming here for over 30 years since I was 10, and nothing has changed! My father and I would go here at least once a week when we lived in Carrollwood Meadows. Now that we live outside of Tampa, over one hour drive, this place is still worth the drive once in a while. I always suggest Pe
I stopped in for early meal for my day. It was about 11:00 or a little after. There was a few people in the restaurant but they look like they were eating breakfast. I waited a while and then a customer asked a waitress to come help me. Food was served cafe style for lunch. They had a wide selectio
Was in the area for a memorial service and I stopped because Google told me they had a good cubano. And did they ever. It was terrific. The bread was perfectly toasted. It was huge and the best part was that the sandwich and a drink was under $10. If you're in the area, you should definitely st
Can't say enough great things about this place! You pick a meat and 2 sides and receive a plate full. I ordered the beef with black beans and rice and a side of plantains. Everything was very flavorful, fresh, and hot. They give you so much food for the money. I barely put a dent in my plate! If I'm
If your looking for a good Cuban, some pork ,rice and beans. Look no more. This is the place to go. The Pprk is juicy and so good. If Pork is not your preferred meat they have Chicken and beef as well. Includes all kinds of sides from beans, rice, green beans, mashed potatoes and some others. Tru
Havenā€™t been inside as Iā€™ve only ordered via Door Dash but the food is superb! Have called for catering prices and they were super friendly and helpful.
Great breakfast sandwich at a reasonable price as well as good Cuban Cafe Con leche. It was not crowded on a Saturday morning and breakfast sandwiches were freshly made and pressed on Cuban bread. And half the cost of other breakfast places!
Amazing amazing amazing food and staff love this place. Been going to Pepos for years now. Always getting better. Miss the Ox tail would pay top price to eat it again.
