Award winning chef Jen and best bbq in Tampa! Cant go wrong! Excellent prices!
Deviled Pig in Tampa is a hidden gem that packs a punch of flavor and fun. The quirky decor and lively atmosphere set the stage for a laid-back dining experience with a Southern twist.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the "Devilish Mac n' Cheese Loaded with Pulled Pork." It's comfort food with a spicy kick that satisfies all your cravings in one glorious bowl. This dish is a flavor explosion that will have you planning your next visit before you even finish.
But it's not just about the food. The drink menu is a delightful journey, and my personal favorite is the "Spicy Piglet Margarita." It's a perfect balance of heat and sweet, complementing the bold flavors of the dishes.
The staff at Deviled Pig adds to the charm, creating a welcoming vibe that makes you feel like you're dining with friends.
For a devilishly good time and unforgettable flavors, Deviled Pig is the place to be in Tampa. It's not just a meal; it's a culinary adventure with a side of Southern sass.
While driving down Dale Mabry, I stumbled upon this little gem of a place. True to its unassuming charm, the atmosphere at this hole-in-the-wall eatery matched my expectations. Opting for a half rack of ribs accompanied by a side of flavorful beans and tantalizing fried jalapeno mac and cheese, I was pleasantly surprised when my order arrived promptly. The ribs exceeded my expectations, effortlessly falling off the bone with each savory bite, while the beans proved equally delectable. However, I encountered a minor setback with the jalapeno mac and cheese, as it arrived cold. It's worth noting that their BBQ sauce leaned towards an intense sweetness, catering to those with a penchant for such flavors. Despite this small hiccup, I found myself already planning my return solely for those mouthwatering ribs.
This place is fantastic! They explained the menu and choices since this was our first time. They have fantastic food and the sauces are amazing! We were welcomed so warmly and they let us put the only tables together they had. We tried all their desserts and the smores pizza is AMAZING! TRY IT, YOU WONT REGRET IT! The fried bologna was good, pork, chicken, ribs....can't go wrong with any of it. Just good food all around. Their freedom fries....um, wow! Great to just sit and eat with friends or as meal by yourself. Try everything because it's amazing!
Best BBQ in Tampa Bay!!! Simply cannot be topped. Locally owned and operated and more importantly you can feel it and taste it! Give Jennifer and everyone else at Deviled Pig a try and you’ll be hooked just like us! Kara and Clay L.
Amazing barbecue, good value, friendly staff, bathroom reeks. I had the brisket and ribs with pirate fries and coleslaw.
Goodness. The portions are huge!
I’d hope they’d have smaller portions for lunch because the pork sandwich and shipwreck were ginormous.
They were pretty dang well cooked, and the sides were just as good as the BBQ.
I wasn’t impressed with the vinegar based BBQ sauce, but the sweet and spicy ones were very good.
I’ll definitely be back and you should try this place out. Hopefully the quality doesn’t drop over time.
This is one of the best places I've gotten BBQ at! The sides were just as amazing as the meat! Plenty of food to fill you up!
The heat was in all of the right places. I, as the BBQ Bandit know good BBQ. Their jalapeño Mac and cheese was amazing. I got the platter with ribs and brisket. There was an up charge for both but the flavor was there so no big deal. After leaving a $5 tip, my bill was right around $22. Overall, a good value and experience. I was not a big fan of the baked beans.
Fantastic! The pulled pork was tasty and the serving size enormous! We enjoyed eating our meal at an outdoor table. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, made sure my allergy was properly addressed in preparation, knew what items contained gluten, and which didn’t. This is a sweet little spot for a quick and robust meal and great service.
I caught myself doing a little happy dance in my stool while eating these Loaded Pirate Fries - crispy fries dusted with Pirate powder and covered with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and beer cheese sauce. Also included a pickle trio, but I didn’t eat that part. 🤣
