Food and service was wonderful. My wife and I had a lobster roll and Caesar salad. Both were great. My only complaint is the size of the portions. When we left we saw someone else eating a lobster and it looked great. We'll be back to try one

Best seafood dinner a person could ask for. Great little hole in the wall kinda place. Fresh New England seafood cooked fresh. They also have a market where you can buy fresh seafood to cook at home. My favorite is the buckets. They have good specials too. Twin 1.5 pound lobsters for $33.00.

Lobster Haven is a hidden gem in Tampa. You would never guess how cute it is based on where it is. Our server (she was from Chicago) was the BEST!! Cannot wait to bring friends and family to this hidden gem.

I was in town visiting some family members, and they suggested we go here for lunch, and boy, am I glad they did! This was my first time eating "steamers" and they were amazing! They were cooked perfectly and I couldn't stop eating them, I could taste the freshness of them. I also ordered the seared scallops, and others ordered the fried belly clams, and everything tasted delicious. The scallops literally melted in my mouth, and the fried clams were fried to perfection! I can't wait to visit here again!!

Incredible all around! I started with a cup of lobster chowder and followed with the scallops, which came with red potatoes and a piece of corn on the cob. The chowder was very rich and creamy, with plenty of lobster. The scallops were tender and well seasoned. We finished with the banana fosters cheesecake and bread pudding because we couldn't pick between them. It was clean and charming inside. Everyone was so attentive, too!

This place is an hour trip for us... And worth every minute. Food is always fresh and cooked per order. It is older building but don't let that scare you away. They serve very fresh seafood and perfectly cooked. Not much more to say... But if you are someone that liked true fresh seafood. They are hard to beat.

So we went here after visiting the Florida Fire Arms Academy to enjoy dinner, me and my roommate. It was right about 45 minutes before closing, we wanted to dine in and was told the cook was working crazy hours and wanted to leave soon so we need to figure out our order (politely). Some people have an issue with the atmosphere but I like and enjoy it. Out waitress was nice, and she understood that it probably would have took us a while to figure out that menu. So she asked what we wanted and she would suggest the best meals for us, so that's what we did. We started off with sangria and calamari. The calamari was ok but Whiskey Joes has better. The sangria on the other hand was amazing. The waitress says she got the sangria recipe from her friends grandmother, who apparently knows her sangria. We ended up buying a bottle of the sangria before we left and kicked it up a notch when we got home. The food was good. We enjoyed the crab legs and the shrimp. The sausage needed more seasoning, the potatoes where just potatoes (as seen in pic) the crab legs where amazing, the utensils where bent but did the job (I have better at home) We appreciated the service, it was fun, we enjoyed our time, the food was good. The cook did a great gob and service for us, the waitress was enjoyable and greeting and also to the point, but that's fine with us, it's what we like.

This place is a a combination of a seafood market along with a small restaurant. I will tell you that this is a hole in the wall restaurant but will say this place is my go to restaurant for lobster for over 10 years! The servers are always great and there is one server that even helps you tie on the bib. I always order the shanty deal! It was lower cost back then but the price has gone up but it is still great to come and enjoy the meal! I love the New England steamers! The lobsters are great as they boil it in a great juice. If you are coming here expecting fine dining experience, then you are coming to a wrong place. This place is similar to a New England hole in the wall! So come here for a great meal!

First timer at this gem and I'm glad I made a u-turn to try it out. On this day service was efficient, effective and friendly. I enjoyed the quaint appearance, it was cozy. They have a bigger menu than expected and I can't wait to try more things. I had the seafood chowder and the ucon lobster roll. This definitely hit all the marks I was looking for on this cold day. The chowder was hearty and stuffed with salmon, cod, and veggies, next time I'm going for a bowl instead of the cup (the cup was pretty big regardless). The Lobster roll was exactly what I was looking for, chunky pieces of lobster stuffed into a buttery seared/toasted bun and melted butter on the side so I can bathe the meaty chunks. Price wise the apps are reasonable. The Lobster roll is $30. I do think that at that price point maybe a different choice of side other than chips would be a better match. They do offer choice of potato salad (which I enjoyed) or Cole slaw to go along with the chips. I will definitely return and look forward to becoming a regular while I'm in the area. They also have a seafood market as soon as you walk in where you can purchase some seafood. I did not explore this option today but it's good to know.

If you're not afraid of an older "joint" vibe, please give Lobster Haven a try. They have fresh seafood for purchase, and also prepare dishes if you'd like to eat there (or take). We dined-in for lunch and the food was delicious. The small staff greeted us and the gentleman who took our order was cool and helpful. We ordered a shrimp basket, lobster chowder, crab cake sandwich w/chips, and coleslaw. Oh, and they have sweet sun tea! Recommend.
