Waffle House

I was very surprise how super clean this Waffle House. I don’t have to leave due to cleaning. I mean even the cooking area floor was super clean). It smell fresh. The 2 ladies ( Oprah sorry l don’t see the other one name) that service me this morning on 12/14/2023, their customer service awesome. I don’t wait long for my food. I will definitely be back. I’m happy Waffle House step their game up with pay by phone and online ordering too. P.S. The food was good 😊

With today’s fancy, organic, non-GMO, free range foods, it’s fun, and tasty, to step into the past. The ambience is classic – booths and counters facing the food prep area that includes a classic flat top grill – a surface that cooks onions, hashbrowns, burger, bacon, eggs, everything – at the same time. I had the Bacon Angus Cheeseburger plate, and it was great. Bun has been toasted on the grill, the burger a true “smash burger”, hashbrowns with crispy exterior and smooth interior. While enjoying the food you hear the banter among the employees, the clatter of plates, and the ding of the spatula on the grill. While I enjoy fine dining around the world, it’s a treat to step back in time when Waffle House, Stuckey’s, and Howard Johnson were the dominant restaurants.

What a difference it makes when you are greeted by the servers when you walk in, such a nice touch! I found all the staff to be friendly helpful and more than willing to chat for a little bit to make the atmosphere more bright. It is mostly comfort/breakfast food... I had waffles, eggs sunny side up with sausage and grits and frankly it was all very tasty... It came out quickly and hit the spot...This waffle house was very clean as well. Kudos to the management for really making customers feel welcome.
