Yummy House

Great place, I've been there twice already and the food is good. Although at first I thought the names of the food where fancy names, but they do live up to and test exactly as they say. I gotta say, that this is one of the almost to none Asian cuisine places I truly like and enjoy. Although the ambiance of the place is a bit of a take-out restaurant; but besides that, the services is friendly and they don't care speaking in their own language to communicate exactly what you want/order. Duck rice is amazing, and since I'm very peaky about seafood, if it's not for delivery, it's good to eat it at their restaurant.

Awesome!!! Order to-go from Yummy House and was very delighted with my food. I ordered the Spicy Grouper & Eggplant Hot Pot, Salt & Pepper Calamari, and Snow Pea Pods w/ Garlic & Mushrooms. The Grouper & Eggplant dish was amazing and so full of flavor in a rich, spicy sauce. The calamari was delicious too with the perfect seasoning. The snow peas were garlicky and truly yummy. Definitely will return to eat inside next time.

Yummy House is an excellent authentic Chinese restaurant! The vegetarian dishes are great and the salt and pepper appetizers are fantastic! They chicken was not so great and that's the only reason that it doesn't get five stars. Overall a great restaurant with an energetic enviroment, friendly staff and excellent vegetarian dishes!

I had heard about this place from multiple coworkers and had to check it out. I was impressed! Located in an unassuming strip mall, Yummy House serves up delicious dishes startlingly fast. I've tried the Mongolian beef, sechuan chicken, chicken curry, and grouper with XO sauce. All were great, though I don't think I'd get the curry again. The prices are the same as any random Chinese takeout joint, but this food is so much better. Sometimes you just want that good ol' sketchy takeout, but if you want something better, try out Yummy House. Definitely worth checking out!

So, before I knew about this place, I thought there were only three types of Chinese restaurants: Chinese restaurants in New York (the "far away" restaurant), fast-food Chinese (the typical strip mall place with identical menus), and P.F. Chang's. And then I stumbled upon this gem. Oh. My. This authentically authentic Chinese restaurant has an enormous menu, helpful staff, and incredibly affordable prices considering the shear sizes of most of the menu items. I have never had anything that disappointed my budget or my taste buds. I have even taken to ordering random menu items now, because everything is just so good. All-time favorites: Salt and pepper calamari, fried rice, beef noodle. Delicious. Fresh. Fast. You've probably seen this place featured on several local networks (including "Dirty Dining," but who cares?), and it's for good reason. I can safely say that this is, hands-down, THE best Chinese restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. Period.

One of my three favorite Chinese restaurants in Tampa. This is the first place I had the salt and pepper pork, and it's still one of my favorite dishes. The 3 for 20 deal can feed your entire family or a couple for days. I like the off-the-beaten-path menu times; the beef and eggs doesn't sound appetizing, but it's great! My family comes here all the time.
