Outstanding BBQ!!! The baby back ribs were amazing talk about fall off the bone I had to use a fork to eat them. The green beans were amazing. For being a chain there BBQ was outstanding. I would put them in the same category as First choice in Brandon!
Wow!!!! This is exactly what Tampa needed! My husband and I both got the brisket and the sausage with jalapeños and cheese, a side of fries and corn bread. The brisket was tender and delicious and the sausage was a flavor explosion in your mouth! We happened to be there at noon and they play the national anthem every day at noon. The entire restaurant stood up, removed their hats and placed their hands over their hearts for the national anthem. Everyone cheered & shouted at the end. It was a really great experience. The wait staff was very attentive and kept coming by offering drink refills or anything that we needed. Love the theme of the restaurant as it honors all of our military and armed forces including police, firemen and Coast Guard. We ate at the new restaurant by USF on Bruce B Downs and Fletcher. It was bustling. We will definitely be back!
This is easily the best BBQ in Tampa and some of the best I've had. The brisket is killer, the chicken is juicy, and the Black Plate Special is always worth checking out. None of it needs sauce but they give you lots of options from a vinegar base to a white Alabama style. I've been to about a dozen BBQ joints but this is my go to.
Outstanding brisket which is moist and flavorful. Ribs are nicely seasoned and fall off the bone. Turkey breast is surprisingly moist. Pulled pork and chicken are both tasty.
Their pulled pork and brisket are very good. The meats are seasoned very well. I love the 6 different BBQ sauce options, and their seasonal peach cobbler is perfection!
DELICIOUS! The lean brisket had the best rinds, and the pulled pork was fabulous. We also loved the creamed corn, and the coleslaw! They had quick, fantastic customer service and reasonable prices. Of the six different sauces we sampled, our favorites were the Texas Twang and the KC Classic.
Great first experience. The staff were very welcoming. I was offered samples off the menu. I ordered the brisket meal that comes with corn bread and opted for the combo with a side Mac and Cheese. To my surprise a dessert was included. The food was delicious with ample serving sizes. I was greeted a few more times while I ate to make sure the meal tasted good. Craig stood out in particular and made sure I was taken care of. I will definitely be returning.
Okay, Prime Rib is for Steak Houses? Riiiiiight…..I had the prime rib because I’ve been wanting to try it. It wasn’t a Bern’s Steakhouse experience, but it wasn’t $74 either. I was most interested in how much smoke they could get into the meat without overcooking it. The Prime Rib I was served was Smokey and cooked as “spot-on” as “spot-on” can be for $14$ piece of “medium rare” beef. I am a Happy Camper-AGAIN!

I lived in Austin for the past 3 years and then moved to Tampa. This is the only bar b q place I have gone to that tastes just not as good if not better!! Jenifer was super helpful and welcoming. We will now be regulars. Also, the banana pudding is on point !!
This BBQ place is always clean. Staff I'd always happy to be there. Customers are always great as well. I get the brisket becuase they will give me super fatty pieces! Nice sauce selections and the sides are wonderful. Seasonal dessert can be daunting because their cobblers are wild good! I know this place is a chain but it's a great bbq place!
Definitely one of the best tasting BBQ yet! So delicious and flavorful. The spices were perfect and the sides were so good you could eat them by themselves. I had the savory brisket with the cheese potatoes, perfectly seasoned green beans, some fresh coleslaw and of course it wasn’t complete without the yummy 🤤 cornbread! And wait for it… perfect, warm, so southern-ly delicious peach cobbler! I hope you #enjoy every bite and save some room for seconds because I sure didn’t and I was so hungry I didn’t think to take pictures 🤷🏻♀️sorry! Maybe next time because their pulled chicken looked just as delicious 🫢.
We used Mission BBQ to cater our wedding reception and the experience from start to finish was exceptional! The food was amazing; we got many compliments on the meal we provided our guests. The staff were kind and professional and were great with attention to detail. We were hosted for a very generous tasting in the beginning of the booking process that we weren't expecting. The pricing was fair and portions at the event were great.
This place was amazing. Best fast BBQ and the best service I’ve ever had…even at nice restaurants. This is as good as it gets. Got two free desserts for coming for the first time. Everything was fresh and staff made sure of that. I’m so impressed!!!!
Great atmosphere, Fantastic service and Russel made our first visit a memorable one. We got to try all the sides and dessert for being a first timer. Rich flavors and tender meats. No shortage on food quality. Absolutely recommend. The big truck outside was a great experience for the kids as well.
