Delicious Dominican style oxtail and rice. Consistently good food at reasonable prices.

Food is delicious, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. Service very friendly. My only caveat is that the music is very loud.

This is a good restaurant. The food is superb and the service waitress, Carla, was kind and patient. It's one of these places you would come back for more.

Very good impressed it is the first time we go to a Dominican Restaurant, food very tasteful. Hot healthy portions & razonable prices for nowadays. You choose the table that you like.inside or outside.
Service very nice and polite. Our waited Maria Eugenia . was very helpful and informed about the menu.
It was a pleasant experience, for sure I'll come back.

I come here all the time. My husband lived in the Dominican Republic for over 20 years and when he doesn't want to cook we come here. The food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly.

The mofongo and shrimp was really good, however the mofongo con chicharrón de pollo was mostly bones, and was largely inedible. I'd return, but we would definitely skip anything that would be uhh, bone forward.
It did take them a long time to greet us or come to the table, but once they did the service was fine.
The mofongo was really good though.

It was getting late and I'm not a late eating person but was craving Spanish food (particularly Puerto Rican) but all the Puerto Rican spots were just about to close. So, decided to hit this spot. The music was loud... loud that I was starting to get a headache. No need to yell to the person next to you while having a conversation. They eventually lowered the volume after our request.
Off to the food... it was very good, mostly. I ordered the mofongo with shrimp with el cogido sauce, kids had chicharron (pollo) among other dishes for the rest of our party. I will say, my wife's dish which was 1/4 chicken and salad was embarrassing. The leg quarter was smaller than the chicken Publix sells as rotisserie (you know those are small), and it was alittle over cooked as well. But she ate from mine and the kids so she was fine. The juices were good, especially the tamarindo which had the perfect balance of tart but not drowned in sugar. I didn't care for the Morir Soñando passion fruit. I wanted the original orange but they ran out and brought the passion fruit instead. I didn't like it so they swapped it for the tamarindo 👍🏽.
Our server, who is the only Puerto Rican that works there was amazing. She was attentive and patient with our party. Food was already being butchered as nobody wanted to wait for me to take pics (except for my wife, she didn't care for the leg quarter). I would come back again.

To celebrate the end of National Respiratory Care Week, aside from the typical Italian, BBQ, sandwich meals… we got hooked up with Dominican food for dinner from here and it’s a win!!!
The restaurant is in a big plaza on Commercial Blvd and University Drive, located more towards the right of the plaza but easy to find. Staff were friendly and helped me out with taking all the food to my car without hesitant.
We had rice and peas, penne a la vodka pasta, fried chicken, and maduros. Everything had the right amount of ingredients/seasoning/temperature cooked, and tasted great. Needless to say, everyone’s belly were happy, full, and ready to work to the end of our shifts! Thanks again guys and I’ll definitely be back… highly recommend!

Mofongo is awesome and the menu variations take up an entire page. I usually get shrimp but today I had chicken with an amazing red garlic sauce. We also had Pernil. Nice portions, lovely music and clean. Prices are so reasonable. We love it here and we are glad to be back.
