I love that Black Dog has more than one location since it's one of my favorite coffee shops in town. It has the same friendly, comfortable service as the location on Lake Ella, my primary location. It has the same wonderful drinks, wonderful foods and the awesome quarter off discount if you bring your own coffee mug. This location though similar definitely does stand out on it's own. Beautiful photography on the walls, live music or poetry events. The piano that sits in the corner gives it a homey feel and I like the landscaping outside. I'm always soothed by the flow of the fountain in the landscaping. I do recommend visiting both locations for different vibes and the feel.

I stopped by Black Dog during one of the First Friday events and I definitely enjoyed myself. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My friend spoke with one of the people working that night about events that they have. He encouraged her to sign up for the mailing list because they have live music sometimes. There was a steady flow of traffic but I was good and comfortable the whole time. We were able to enjoy our goodies and chat. Definitely going back.

Have a taste in a variety of flavors, they have hot and cold brews, pastries, cakes, Not Your Mama's ice pops, hummus and steamers(hot flavored frothy milk). The baristas will even make latte art for you. This Black Dog location has outside seating and cozy inside seating surrounded by local artwork.

Best coffee shop for hundreds of miles around. The service is unbeatable and coffee is just right. Kennidy lights up my day each time she crafts one of those wonderful crusty pressed veggie sandwiches. Made with the hummus that they make in shop. You can taste the love. Thank you always!

Used to go to another coffee place in the morning. It was good, but started going to Black Dog because it was a little closer to where I worked. THEIR coffee is even better. Atmosphere is cheery, too, and so are the staff. The staff in my experience goes out of their way to make the service amicable and fast. Definitely the place for coffee in town. Try the specialty lattes!

Cute place, woman owned business it says, I am not much of a coffee drinker but they had a good selection of baked and popsicle and drink options, my girlfriend liked the drink she got, I liked the taste from when I tried it. Live music the night we went, $5 cover charge to stay for the band of course. Indoor and outdoor seating, and a smoking zone outside I think. First shop on the block when entering railroad square, has a bike rack and some parking spaces

This place is super cute (with cute baristas too)! The live music they had going was nice and I suggest a cold chai latte!

Excellent local coffeeshop. Offer a variety of drinks (cold brew, traditional coffees, etc), hand-baked snacks and treats, relaxing atmosphere in an older wooden building with interesting decor. Very much in line with their Lake Ella location's atmosphere, but a much brighter atmosphere in the decks and painted bar area. Wish they were open later.

We were looking for a place in the evening that was open, and this was the first place we came upon. The girl working the counter was soooo nice and welcoming. The space is adorable and charming and you can see the owner took a lot of time and effort with the the décor. My friend had one of the pops (an xxx pop, which had alcohol in it) and loved it - my friend, the lush, said you could definitely taste the alcohol. I had the orange cream pop and it was delicious. Our first visit, we only got the 2 pops - and loved talking to the girl working the counter. Even tho we are middle-aged, the girl was very careful about checking our ID for the xxx pop. The second day, we went back for coffee and a delicious cranberry muffin; the guy working was nice too. The charm of this place is unsurpassed - there's shady outdoor seating that just makes you feel at home. The coffee is great, and that muffin - yum - it was DEVINE. Inside and outside was clean and well taken care of. The big chair as you walk in is adorable. Loved this place, you can tell the owner cares about her business! I can't wait to go back to Tallahassee for more of those pops! All good!

Every time I come in, the baristas are so warm and welcoming. The back porch snd front patio areas are serene and well kept. This location has a certain calm that the one at Lake Ella doesn't possess. Since it's opened, it's been my favorite coffee shop in town.
