Finchers Delite

Wow, its been a couple years since I ate here and it did not disappoint. All 3 of us ate the lunch special country fried steak with homemade white gravy and a wide assortment of vegetables all cooked perfect and delicious! Make sure to order fried green tomatoes, best I ever had. Service was good and place was clean ,enjoy!

My wife and I chose to stop by Finchers for dinner. Apparently there's a whole new wait staff? The air-conditioning wasn't working so it was hot, which added to the unpleasant smell the restaurant sometimes has. To add to that atmosphere there was some sort of altercation involving the girl that waited on our table initially. When we left there were police cars and policemen all over the place. We ordered the chicken finger snack which should have been about $7.50 each plus drinks. When we paid our bill the price was $9.99 each. We probably will not go back anytime soon.

I'm sorry I know you all having hard time but it was awful today. My friend ask for coffee with cream and sugar. We had to ask for second cup coffee because first one sat there before we got any cream and then I asked for baked potatoe and got sweet potatoes. Took us a long time to even just get beans and we wanted beans in a bowl and got beans in a plate. Nothing was good. I don't usually say anything but I'm sorry just not good today. God bless

The Shack is just that, an old shack that put out consistently good BBQ. Their onion rings and friend sweet potato pies are good too. The atmosphere is old, interesting and entertaining. The service is friendly. We really enjoyed listening to the locals talk about one another after church!! They have three sauces, sweet, mild and hot. All are good. This is a one of a kind place.

Made an order and only got half of what we paid for, had to call them and go back only for the "main" cook to complain the whole time I was there, the burgers had no seasoning and the tater tots were like eating rocks. How can you not know how to properly make Tatertots? our Baked potatoe was just about solid and even when I went back they still didn't give me everything. We will not be returning to this restaurant. I'd rate it lower than one if it was possible.

The waitress Joni was good. We ordered the one piece catfish fillet plate. The hush puppies had Jalapeno's in the hush puppies The coleslaw looked and tasted ruined. We sent coleslaw back . We over heard a new cook say nothing wrong with the slaw.The fish was the best part. I will not be back Ths place sold out over a year ago. IT IS NOT ORIGINAL FINCHERS !!
