i googled what was nearest to me because i got off late and was hungry! saw this place and wasn’t sure if it would be good and fresh. i ordered shrimp singapore noodles and spring rolls: everything is hot and fresh! delicious taste like made to order. and a large size portion
The food is good. Better than the average little sub shop. What makes it great is the service, the "at home" feel they give. They remember you, remember your favorites, those little request...it kinda surprising. When I come to DC area to visit, I will make it a point to go back!
For $8 -$10 for a meal the portions are generous and the service is good.
I’ll always love this place no matter what! The peter wings with fries and a mix are the best thing they have here🤟🏼 On everything moe, on my movah you’ll love it here
Pretty tasty for a little corner shop. Price is right.
The food over there is excellent. I haven’t tried peters sub shop in over 5 years and I miss it. It’s one of the best carry outs in the DMV. I recommend you to try their fish sandwich, French fries with Mumbo sauce, and their crab sticks. I cant wait to go back there and try their food again. Shouts out to Bing ❤️💯
Definitely an underground hole in the wall type of place. The food here is good. Like really good. we tend to gate the average Chinese food fair, things like general tso's chicken, beef and broccoli, and lo mein. We have yet to be disappointed with the food, and the price is right as well. Highly recommend you check it out and don't judge a book by its cover (AKA don't judge the taste the food by the way that the storefront looks).
I love peters sub shop. Back in the day (the 90's) the food was much better bigger pieces of chicken and more fried rice. The prices for 4wings fried rice has doubled I remember when it was 2.75$ a plate. The Mumbo sauce is kinda the same still over all great food
Cheap. Fast. Hole in the wall. If your looking for a good deal pass by here. There is an $8 card minimum so bring cash for the lunch special or be willing to pay more. All lunch specials are $5.75. They also serve American food at very affordable prices.
The interior is a bit off putting but I can put it past me for the value. If you want to sit down and eat, Takoma-Piney park is just 5 minutes away and they offer an elevated deck with shaded picnic tables that overlooks Maple Ave. and the surrounding neighborhood.
I Love the place peter's sub shop was the place to eat hands down. They had the best fish sandwiches in Maryland. Their fried chicken their French fries crab sticks, fried rice was always on point .Its been 5 years that have not ate their food in maryland back but when I return peters will be the first thing in my mind.
