This was a great place to eat for great food. The staff was super nice and the food was not only great but came fast. We both had the basic burger and it was delicious. Definitely worth coming here. I tried a recommended local beer and it was very good. I also had the onion rings to go with it so it was the perfect meal.

I stay in Taft frequently for work and this place has become my go-to spot for a beer and delicious food after a long days work. The beer is amazing - you can tell there is serious pride in the small batch brewing done here. His classic IPA and milk stout are outstanding. The food is great, too (especially the Thai/Asian food). Can’t go wrong - worth stopping by whether you’re a local or just passing through.

Delicious breakfast, and plenty of avocado on my omelette. The food was perfect- I've gone to too many places that do not season their potatoes. I would definitely come here again. The owner was very nice and let me hang out for a while after my meal out. Nice ambiance, and friendly service. I highly recommend.

Best hamburger I have had in a long time. Home made roll. Real meat patty with fries less than$8. Great wine and beer selection. Owner's wife is Thai so great authentic Thai food. Great place to eat in this small town. Just around corner from Best Western so a preferred option. Close at 8 pm so don't go late

Our first impresion was negative - we arrived in Taft around 8pm and were looking for a place for beer and burgers. Sounded like the Black Gold Brewing Company would be a perfect fit. But they closed at 8pm. A Brewery closing at 8??!!! We came back a couple of days later in the middle of day, seeking refuge from a rainstorm. The owner was extremely nice, the burgers were great (Lots of choices too) and the coffee was very good! Would have laved to try their beers - but we were on motorcycles. Looks like I have to try again....

Great food, beer and people. Right next to the Fox Theatre makes for a perfect place to eat before a show take the whole family or go on a night out! Has everything from juicy burgers to fresh Thai food! It’s a must stop

It's a very good place to eat. I love their orange chicken and egg drop soup. My husband Chris really enjoyed the pastrami hamburger. We really want to try their breakfast. We will return.
