Mr. Bigg's Restaurant

I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but I ordered take out through an app recently and this place was fantastic. The portion sizes are huge, the food is filling, and without realizing it I ordered a BOGO meal, so it fed me for two whole days! Will definitely head in to eat in person based on this experience, and recommend to friends.

Owner is very nice and I love the food. My only request is that he use less salt bc the Collard greens, Cabbage and Macaroni n Cheese is always “Super” salty! I couldn’t finish my meal the last time I ordered from there due to the salt. Mr. Bigg’s can you please use less salt as I would like to purchase your food again. Thank you!

Enjoyed my first meal from Mr. Bigg’s yesterday and it won’t be my last. The smell when you walk in is heavenly—if you aren’t hungry the moment you arrive, you will be in a nanosecond. At $8, their lunch special of one meat, sides of rice and cabbage, and a bottle of water is one of the best deals in town. The jerk chicken was fall-off-the-bone tender and seasoned perfectly. If you like a little heat, it delivers! The owner is super friendly, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in the wonderful food they offer. Can’t wait to go back to try the stew chicken and curry chicken!

Wife and I got take out for the first time and loved everything. The beef patties were a real highlight; soft, flaky, good spicy kick to them and great flavor. Had ox tail over Biggs rice with collard greens which was all excellent. Don't skip out on the plantains with your meal. Looking forward to returning again soon to try more of the menu.
