The Pies Guys Pub & Grub

We've been making our way around Syracuse, looking to find our preferred place for pizza. Finally made our way to Pies Guys. Fun atmosphere in there on a random Sunday in August. Seems like lots of people stop in for a slice and a beer after being out around the area. We've been baselining our Pizza Trials™ with cheese. At Pies Guys, we ordered the 18-inch New York style pizza, which came sliced in wedges, as is tradition. The pizza was quite good! Not overly cheesy, not too oily (just the right amount for the authentic NY slice). The crust was great and had good flavor on its own. We ordered and split a salad with Caesar dressing. Some of the lettuce in the salad was a little brown, but it was a Sunday, so I doubt there were deliveries over the weekend. We'll have to try the salad again during the week (this was not a make or break item). With a pair of leftover slices, the pizza did pretty well in the microwave at the office for lunch the next day. The only confusing part about Pies Guys was whether to order at the window at the back of the restaurant or if there was service at the tables, which were self-seating on the day we came in. 10/10 would try again!

I have picked up food at Pies guys about 3 times in 3 years. The pizza is delicious & the chicken wings are amazing. Oddly enough, I often show up in my timeline parked at Pies guys when I was not & it's now listed as a favorite based on numerous, continuing trips that I have to admit I did not make. I do highly recommend their food & the service is always great. Apparently, my digital stalker really feels they are great too!
