First of all as promised to our favorite bar tender Andy, this restaurant is unmatched in the sylvan beach area! The environment is like something out of the Bahamas . Andy is always a very quick bar tender and the servers are great too! He remembers us every year we go for our wood pallets ! The food is very fresh and the menu is unique! As an expert level reviewer I would highly recommend this spot for everyone!!

The ambience and decor are unique. During the years they have served great food for tourists and locals. Unfortunately our experience wasn't so good this time. As other reviews mentioned, the quality of the food is not great but the prices are on the expensive side. We were also very disappointed with the cocktails. The good thing the staff is great. Always smiling and friendly. We are not going back again at least for a while.

Food was very good. Steak and prime rib were cooked perfectly. The dessert was delicious!Only issue was with dining room space. The isle space was so cramped that the staff as on top of each other trying to get around the dining room. There was no room for more than one person going one way.

Neat place, awesome vibe, food was ok, not the best but definitely not the worst. Prices are ridiculously high, but its the only game in a tourist town.
Was nice but without a good deal and awesome food, for my money I wouldn't make a second trip.
I left feeling ripped off and was definitely walking funny from the reaming they gave my wallet.

This place has been a favorite of mine since I was a child! I live in Chicago now but I make sure I visit Captain John's everytime I'm home. AMAZING food at great prices. Super fun atmosphere and friendly staff!
