Had a fun time here. Service was fast and nice and there was a ton of variety to choose from at multiple price points. Worth the short drive up from campus whenever the mood for sushi strikes. Casual atmosphere but great presentation.
wow this place is delicious! what a cute little place. sake is super yummy, along with agedashi tufo, and veggie tempura were amazing! sushi was incredible too. i really liked how gorgeous all the plates were~ not to mention, tasty!!

Great service! The food was great and fresh when it arrived at my table. Although it is a little pricey especially for just one person. Inside is also very comfy and cozy as well as welcoming. It is pretty small inside which is great for just a single person or 2 or even a small family.
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! Also the serving of chicken fried rice would serve a family of 6 so we definitely had leftovers! The snow mountain roll was my favorite and the Diablo was my husband's. We also loved the Wasabi Shumai.
Omi sushi is very good! I am a sushi fanatic. The restaurant is very clean and has a nice relaxing atmosphere. The staff is very kind and attentive. The Sushi Chef came out personally to check on us. miso soup was very good. The quality of sushi is excellent. Very fresh! We had a little of everything. Salmon and fatty tuna were absolutely delicious. Their rolls are very tasty as well. Iced green tea is steeped perfectly. It’s a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for, and it was completely worth it!! We had a lot of leftovers to take home. They have very good teriyaki chicken too.
Omi is the best sushi DeKalb, hands down! I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered. Their other dishes are fantastic as well; I fell in love with their spicy yaki udon. Their atmosphere is clean and authentic, and their staff is wonderfully friendly. Yes, Omi is a little more expensive than other nearby options, but it's absolutely worth it.
