Bake Bottle And Brew

Great place with a wonderful deck, overlooking the sound and sea. It is a real family deck, as you can enjoy ice-cream, milk shake, (iced) coffee or a beer. The gift store has fun presents (maybe not suited for the entire family) and home brew equipment. And of course the staff is super friendly. For us it is a must return location on our annual trip to Emerald Isle.

This place is super cute. Beer, ice cream, and a gift shop. I if you can’t find it, go up the steps, It’s on the second story. There is a nice covered porch overlooking the water to sit and relax while you eat/drink. There is also a porch on the front which is nice for watching the live music across the street during the summer. The is also a restroom and free water for customers.

Icecream, coffee and beer all in one stop. Amazing shop for gift ideas. Creative little trinkets and gifts. Funny socks and unique items I haven’t seen in my life of travel. Staff is awesome, Maya in particular really knows her stuff. The place is very kid friendly with games and things to do on their patio. Strong 5 stars.

Purchased a few craft beers and the bartender seemed annoyed that we were there. I couldn't tell if she just had RBF or if she was just having a bad day. After reading other reviews, I think I had the same unfriendly bartender that other patrons mentioned. The atmosphere was fantastic! It was a Sunday block party with live music across the street. It was so fun!

I’ve always loved this place! My mom also really enjoys coming here every spring when she visits for a few days. This week we made it over twice! It was sunny and 80° out, so we had a really nice time sitting on the back deck while she ate her ice cream. The second day my mom went up for ice cream and coffee to go, and we went over to the River Walk to sit and enjoy. Last spring when we went, we got to watch a guy play live music on the bottom level. The staff is very nice and they’re all more than efficient at their jobs (while maybe a bit slow, if you lack patience - we understand that spots like this are leisurely and so are the staff working them, and I think it’s part of what makes the place so relaxing). The views are next to none. You can’t get those views many other places in Swansboro. I noticed the back decks (top and bottom) have brand new tables and chairs, and they were nice! The only reason I’m holding back a star in the rating is that the steps to get upstairs for ice cream (both in the front and the back) are INCREDIBLY steep, and it’s got zero accessible entry points for the upper level (where you buy ice cream). I use a cane and sometimes a wheelchair and I can’t imagine being able to enjoy this spot on a wheelchair day, which makes me sad for those that can’t ever get up out of their chairs and also makes me acutely aware of the fact that eventually, I won’t be able to go here anymore either. Still, lack of ramp and all, I love it there!

Visited Bake, Bottle & Brew after lunch today. Enjoyed a smores Frappuccino on the back deck and it was delicious. The view is relaxing. The shop has a variety of cute & funny gifts. Also offered a variety of ice cream and beers. If you're looking for a souvenir or just a spot to sit and relax while enjoying a nice cold beverage this is the spot to be!
