Don Bonachon

A newer restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. The hospitality was wonderful. Decided to stop enjoying my meal for minute to take a photo of my Don Bonachon Nacho takeout only after I had eaten almost a fourth of it. This restaurant is a winner in my book of eating out.

Hands down our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, and one of our top picks overall! Veronica, her husband and the whole team are fantastic hosts! We're fairly new to the region, and we'd been struggling to find a decent buffalo wing spot. Well, not only does Don Bonachon offer spot-on Mexican fare, but they have the best wings we've found so far!

If you want watered down sour cream and store bought guacamole this is your place. They gave me less than one bite of guacamole. I asked for more and told them I wanted sour cream that wasn't watered down. I than got a bowl of liquid sour cream and guacamole worse than something Taco Bell would serve. The chips and salsa also tasted store bought. The only thing good here was the drinks. We went on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was slow but still took a while to get the drinks and the food. The servers sat at the table next to us rolling silverware and complaining about how slow it was. I read reviews saying this place was authentic and amazing but I'm convinced those were family and friends or someone who was too drunk to taste the food. There was nothing remotely authentic or good. I even heard someone else saying they would rather go to the liquor store and Kroger down the street which should of told me than to leave instead of waisting $50!! I don't see this place staying in business too long.

Favorite mexican restaurant in the area! I come almost every weekend with my husband and sister for good drinks and food. They are always so happy to see us and we really feel welcome. They have your typical mexican food but the food is always good and hot with a few other add ons such as wings and steak phillys, and even empanadas! Veronica is one our favorite servers/bartenders. I would suggest getting there early as the restaurant fills up fast. Highly recommend!
