Honestly we looked online before we went to see if everyone was game. We looked at what I assume was their old menu (in color) where prices were reasonable and our two children were going to get half orders. Wait wasn't bad. It was 11, but we waited 20 minutes for a table for four. Server was friendly and attentive. Food came out promptly, to good temperature, and tasted great. No complaints there. I gave this review 4/5 stars though for the unreasonable prices. I understand I could have paid more attention to the updated prices and breakdowns, but honestly I knew what I had come there for and ordered it without taking a more thorough look. I also assumed meats came WITH the meals and the drinks were, if anything, slightly more than average diners because of the location. My orange juice was $6 and other drinks were $4 each; the meats were $5 each person; the single pancake my daughter got was $8; and the other meals were $13-14, but I split one meal with my younger daughter. Grand total was a sticker shock of over $70 before tip. We spent $20 less than this at a dinner restaurant on Front street in Traverse City (but the food wasn't as good at that place).

Discovered this gem of a diner on a Saturday morning in October. It was about 9 am and pretty busy but the staff was hustling and we only waited about 15 mins. I ordered a breakfast bagel which had sausage, egg and cheese...it was very good! My wife had corned beef hash and she loved it. Service was fast and friendly, we will definitely be back!

Great breakfasts. This is a good spot for a business meeting over breakfast. Service is prompt and you can enjoy a cup of coffee within a couple of minutes of being seated. Orders turn around fast and they are good at getting your table's orders out at the same time. Food is good with lots of options for customizing plus vegetarian and kids dishes. Their bakery case has lots of choices as well with everything from sweet rolls to muffins and cookies. The atmosphere is a combination of diner and cafe. There is some art on the walls and there are a lot of windows. There's also outdoor seating which is great on a nice summer day. This is not always available after their summer help returns to school. They have an automated ordering system so be sure to let your server know if you're doing separate bills or there will be some extra time to sort it out if you wait until it's time to get the check. Sometimes in winter it can be a little chilly in there so you may need another cup of coffee.

I showed up just before closing time and they very graciously accommodated my take out order. I ordered three sandwiches and it was a great experience. The chicken salad crossiant was my favorite. The turkey bacon club was beautiful and delicious. The chicken wrap was a hit! I highly recommend. We thank you for the great service and superb lunch!

i came by myself and am from down state, but my husband and i got married in Northport about two months ago, so we’re familiar with the area a bit. this place honestly blew my mind. i’m a foodie, i love food, all kinds, especially breakfast and the omelet i just ate was phenomenal. i mean, are you seeing all these awards?!?! thanks so much, guys, for an amazing breakfast and for adding the the ever-growing list of reasons we love it up here!!!
