Main Street Grill

One of the best restaurants we have visited on Holden Beach. The staff were very attentive, the environment was pleasant and the food was exceptional. You could tell the care they put into each dish. The cheese was hand grated, the guacamole was freshly made, the fried rice had loads of flavor and the meats were busting with flavor. We paid $18 for two at lunch. I would have gladly paid twice that for the quality of the food we received. Just a note, we came during lunchtime, but due to COVID, the seating was spread out, hence the empty looking dining room picture.

As I am a local I obviously like to give a business more than one opportunity to give me good service. this restaurant had good service wonderful tasting food. since the tourist have gone home you And are selling less food . buy less don't sell us bad food to save money Bad bad bad . The quality of food should continue to be the same. Ordering my usual the California burrito This time to go. They had no customers when we pulled up . I figured I would get great food being the only 3 customers. Unfortunately we ended up with food poisoning for 3 days after eating the steak. Just because you haven't sold the food in time does not mean that you should!!!! Food poisoning is not fun or comfortable I will not be returning to there. Very unfortunate because the the food is very good. But the quality is very bad all 3 of us ordered California burritos with steak.. we all 3 have been sick for days :( never again . if you are a cook you obviously know when meat is bad it doesn't even smell the same when you're cooking it there's no excuse!
