Wendy's

We were treated very rudely by the cashier taking our order. I called the number on the back of the receipt to report our experience and was on hold over an hour to speak to someone. I was told someone from the district of the store would contact me within 3 days. No one ever did. I contacted corporate again by email and once again was told someone would be in touch in the next couple of days. No one has ever contacted me. Wendy's talks about customer service being very important to them, but their actions prove that they really couldn't care less. I will never eat at Wendy's again.

I've been here before and it's always been decent both in service and food quality. Tonight though, my daughter and I went through so I could get a Frostyccino. Rudy took my order. I commented to my daughter that I wanted to steal him for my workplace because of his friendliness and instantly understanding my request for "more Frosty, less ccino". It was perfect btw. She pointed out to me the smiles on the other employees faces, how rare that is, and how wrong it would be to take him away from them. Ah well. If anyone from Wendy's is reading this, PLEASE give that man a raise!! He is a wonderful role model for those younger men! I will definitely be returning when I'm near that side of town. Update 1/21/22 I'm not sure what's happened in the short time since I felt encouraged to give a rave review. Last time I was here under a week ago it was ok. Not very happy people, likely being overworked and underpaid, and the frosticcino was ok. This time however, the drink was horrid. It was so sour. Either the frosty had seriously turned or something other than frosty and coffee was put in it. I had already driven away. I tried to call the store but nobody's answering their phone and the voicemail was too full to leave a message. Unfortunately, I can't ever trust the store again.

Extremely unreliable hours, I’ll go up to the grove thru at 11am, mind you the store says open until 2am on weekends and 9/10 times that I go they are not open early, it’s extremely frustrating and the least they could do is change their advertised hours. I miss the days when fast food was open 24/7 and not every store has to be(most chains stopped that since the pandemic happened) but they could AT LEAST say when they’re open and be open till then

Ok Wendy's you did it! I have never ever been a fan of Wendy's however I got chili and lemonade today and boy was I surprised! Lemonade is great and the chili was the best I have ever had at a fast food place. Also the man working the drive thru ordering (which looked like a manager) was great! Super nice, polite and loud and clear on the mic.

Upon checking store hours it was brought to my attention that the store was labeled as "closes at 4am." I drove 30 minutes to come get food here to be met with "We are closed" upon entering the drive through, by an employee. This is a very frustrating experience that I was not looking forward to having tonight as I have had a rough day. Upon entering the premise it was also noted that multiple employees were inside of the building standing around on their cellular devices. This was very unprofessional even for a fast food chain. Unless prompted with a reason to return to the store to correct the situation, I will be doing business elsewhere.

Updated 4/26/2022 Do not expect this Wendy’s location to be open late night despite the published hours. I spoke to the manager who stated they close whenever they want based on traffic and employee interest. Bottomline do not expect this location to be open past 10:30 or 11:00PM. The lights are on but nobody’s home - they are also rude to customers for asking about what time they close - obviously a sensitive subject LOL. Updated 10/17/2021 Changing review from 5 stars to one star - Never have I seen an operation go from top notch to bottom of the barrel so quickly. There must have been a management change and then a mutiny - also hours have changed - they seem to close at a different time every night and the food quality and accuracy have gone down substantially - somebody at Wendys regional management really botched this one. Original review from 10/2020: 5 stars The people at this Wendy’s location are by far, the best of any other Wendy’s in Austin. They are very friendly, courteous, and have super fast service at all times of the day. Thank you for displaying excellence in the workplace !!
