Awesome food for a great price. Don't be fooled by the hand written labels and bad signage, this is surprisingly good Thai food, I am a connoisseur of sorts :) I come here lot since I live just down the street and always a good experience. Try it! My favorite is the red curry, just spicy enough

Excellent Thai fast food. I like their Basil Chicken (ground chicken with onions, bell peppers, rice powder and lots of basil — what I think of in my ignorant non-Thai ways as Chicken Larb), their Shrimp Rolls (they spell it Shrim Roll and are long ~5" deep fried shrimp tails, crispy and without too much batter) and the curries are heavenly.
Plenty of tables to eat in during dinner or lunch, but takeout is probably most of their business.
My only complaints is that I have failed to get the food spicy-hot enough, even when I ordered "Thai-Hot!!". I doubt most people would ever be bothered by this as my preference is a bit extreme. The food can certianly be ordered hot enough to quickly set fire to most palates.

Warning, this place is CASH ONLY... The epitome of a "no-frills" Thai restaurant, Elephant Express is housed within a somewhat dilapidated building, and adorned with very simple decor even hand-written "special menus". The food also maintains a "homemade" element to it, with good flavors and noticeably fresh ingredients.

Changed my review. Last time I are her I got sick from the chicken satay plus I saw roaches by the front door. Service is slow as well. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Go across the street to the tacoria of sandwich shop.
