First time having soup dumplings, they were really good. The pork and dill dumplings were amazing, as was the cucumber salad light and flavorful at the same time, perfect. Everything was good, so good we went back a second time.
Got to try the Chicken Chow Mein from Dumpling Depot for lunch. The noodles had a great texture and were well cooked. The flavor of the dish was tasty, not too salty or greasy. Plenty of chicken in the dish. I'd definitely order again.
Pretty good place to get some dumplings but they have many other choices including hot & sour soup, fried rice, chow mein, and other classics. Great spot for vegetarians/vegans. Prices are quite reasonable too. I got the green chive dumplings with egg (12 pieces) and loved it, quite delicious and filling. Complimentary tea is a nice touch as well.
Really great place in Sunnyvale to get dumplings. This is my go to for any sort of dumpling they have on the menu and they recently have started allowing indoor dining again. My favorite item on the menu is the beef pancake roll! Make sure it’s the roll that has the tender braised beef. I accidentally ordered the beef pancake when I meant to order the beef pancake roll, won’t make that mistake again!
Out of the way, has parking in front, street parking is available. Good food, no frills and generous portions. We got QQ noodles with dumplings and beef noodle soup. My boyfriend is picky about his Chinese food and he loves this place, we took home what we couldnt finish and he's going to use the broth again.
The inside of the restaurant is pretty simple with 8 tables spread out.

Price : compared to another establishment I was considering, their menu items are $10-15.
Quickness of the food: I think there is magic in the kitchen, but everything we ordered comes out within 5 minutes. I don't know how they do it. Everything from eggplant to salt and pepper fish, to maopao tofu.
Taste: very tasty! The XLB was great! So were all the dishes. The only item was the maopao tofu which was way too salty.
I would definitely come back again when I'm craving Chinese food! (Like....all the time!)
Very good taste. I have not eat this kind of pure hand made dumpling skin for a long time. I also order a dan-dan noodle, it is delicious. Definitely will visit again to try other dishes. They have another branch in the San Bruno area, I may be go there instead. But, it is worth to try.
