Nice food. The sandwich tastes pretty good. Decent options to choose from. Vegetarians will like this spot. The potion size is perfect. Nice service and less waiting time. Overall a good place for lunch

Erik's DeliCafe is a local chain that serves "sandwiches with character". This location is tucked away from El Camino in a nook of a strip mall. The interior is comfortable with a lot of repurposed lumber constructed to look like the inside of a barn. The sandwich items generally have premium ingredients such as sprouts, mangos, or avocado but don't miss out on the soups which are always excellent. Sandwiches are generally $7.

I love Eriks, but the one time I ordered a salad, the salad came to me with leaves that were breaking apart in a slimy rotting mess. I took it back and they politely exchanged it for a sandwich at no charge.
The rot/gross mess was because the salads are pre-made and stored in the cooler rather than being made-to-order. A pre-made salad will wilt/rot if it sits there for hours on end. I will never order a salad there again until they start making them when they are ordered.
