Pezzellas Villa Napoli

It took me 25 years to finally go to Pezzella's and it was my loss to not go sooner. Sampled the cheese pizza, Meat Ball sandwich, and the Chicken Parmigiana sandwich (off-menu). All were delicious, including their tater-tots. The marinara on the sandwich was tasty without being too salty, the roll had a good balance of crustiness and softness. The cheese on the cheese pizza had a wonderful smokiness to it; maybe a touch of Provolone? Next time, we'll order pizza as a main course and I'll post notes on that. The service was attentive, helpful, and didn't rush at all. I can highly recommend Pezzella's.

We had the bruschetta for appetizers and they were good. For main course we had manicotti and a vegetarian pizza both of them were nice but the pizza was outstanding, its base was fresh and the toppings were perfect (we enjoyed it the most). However the dessert was disappointing, we had cannoli but it had a weird smell in the cream as if it had been taken out of a can which was closed for a long time. It was just weird. So that kind of spoilt our taste buds towards the end. But the other dishes were good, maybe skip the cannoli and order something else if you plan to visit.

Tasty Italian comfort food. I like the fettuccine alfredo and the rigatoni with meat sauce, along with the grilled chicken. The takeout orders with Slice work well, though sometimes it takes a little longer than the expected pickup time. I also appreciate that they've been around since 1957. There's something special about a restaurant that can be part of the community for so long.

Tasty food, but horrible delivery service. I had to wait an hour for the delivery service, "Slice" to arrive to find that they did not check any of the items and only delivered half the order. I then had to call the restaurant, re-order the missing items and go and pick them up myself. Finally ate my microwaved food an hour and a half after placing the order. An incomplete food delivery is worse than no delivery at all.
