Worst Rib I have ever had inn my existence. If I wasn’t hungry I would of puked it up and been done with it. Pulled pork sandwich, more like Dry Disgusting Trauma Stressed Pork sandwich. Truthfully this place having 4.2 stars is a lie! It’s probs a 2-3 star joint, but I morally feel obligated to rate it lower to warn people of this…..experience
Ribs tasted…..like nothing? Dry unseasoned and borderline chewey 😭

Wow if your in Santa Clara and don't stop here at least once your sure missing out. They do some of the best BBQ in Northern California. It's been about three years between my two visits and not much has changed in that time and it's just as good as my first visit. The burnt ends and brisket where super tasty, the ribs could have been in for a little longer as they where a little too under for me but they still tasted great.
If you want real good BBQ you need to try this place.

Best BBQ in the area. Staff is friendly and serves up your meal quickly. My family enjoys the burgers, pulled pork, ribs and brisket. It's always hard to decide what to order as the food is oh so good.

Order this for mother's day and took it to my mom's. Meet cooked to perfect but I had to add some additional seasonings for taste. I definitely will be coming back since they are in my town and I don't have to drive far.

This place was good for BBQ in Northern California but I wouldn’t go as far to say “real Texas BBQ.” We went about a hour and a half before closing and no items were out which leads me to believe it is not made fresh daily as traditional Texas BBQ places do. They do not have freshly brewed sweet or unsweetened iced tea.
The sauces were excellent. The mild and jalapeño were available tonight and a mixture of the two was a spicy tangy flavor.
The potato salad was very good. Medium sized chunks with a mild mayo/mustard sauce with the crunch from pickles and celery.
The tortilla soup was good, but kinda basic. It came out very hot which was nice. Didn’t eat it until we dived into the meats and it was still a good temperature. Served with a large slice of avocado on top. Maybe better if that was sliced thinner so it was easier cut into smaller chunks to mix in the soup.
The cornbread was mediocre and the butter with it came out almost frozen and unspreadable.
The Texas BBQ ribs were very good on their own with the rub and with a little sauce on them. They were very large bones too!
Jalapeño cheddar sausage was excellent. True flavors of cheddar and spice of jalapeño!
Brisket was okay+. We opted for the half/half fatty and not. It didn’t come out in slices as I anticipated. Just a pile similar to pulled port but you could tell it was brisket by the burnt/crunchy parts and darker meat.
Service was sufficient. It was mildly busy. The women taking our order was more concerned with phone orders than customers there in person. Taking them right away while we waited in person. Our food came out pretty quick which was nice.

Very good food. Polish people always want to eat something American when visit USA. I think it’s really good place for it! I like ribs and other meat here, it’s really tasty. A lot of space, amazing scent of smoked meat :) I’ve been two times in the USA and two times in this restaurant. I hope will be here again!

🍖The food is very unique to the San jose area tbh becuase alot of what was around was Japanese food and sandwiches. So this bbq place was good shake up from the others. Me and the hubby were traveling and wanted to give this place a go. The food was good, the the BBQ FRIES are literally the best. They have like this seasoning on top this is semi savory but also smokey sweet and just talking about it makes me want them. Between the 18 hour brisket and the tri tip and the brisket is the clear winner, in fact I asked for juicy tri tip and it was actually kind of dry and needed a lot of sauce to help it.
🍖Atmosphere was nice, as nice as you can get for it being covid and things are shut down. How ever, there was a man who cam and sat down a table away outside and was drinking alcohol (open container) and smoking, and I really wish a worker would have come out and at least told him it was a no smoking area. There was another couple around us and they noticed and were bothered by this man as well.
🍖I will note, im like 80% they use liquid smoke in one of their bbq sauces and it made me quite ill for a few hours after words.

all the food was good, maybe not true to the name as they don't offer a lot of things we have in Texas, but still really good BBQ
