Smallest restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dining with. If you are ever in the area, it is well worth your consideration for a dining experience! We had desert as a carry out...WOW!!!

Best restaurant in Sunnyside!
On our first time, a local who probably frquents the place told me that everything here is good. And it was. (fettuccini alfredo emmmmo! Yommiiii)

The food here is authentic and rich! So flavorful and plentiful, even when you order take-out. The place is snug, but makes for a nice intimate meal with a special someone or a solo treat!

Looks like a hole in the wall with only like 10 tables. But the food is just outstanding. Grilled Branzino was as perfect as the Calamari, the Tiramisu and the Panna Cotta. This guy knows his profession! And Jimmy is an outstanding and attentive service.

Looks like an unassuming hole in the wall from the outside, but the food is delicious and service is friendly. Try any of the fresh pastas and tiramisu for dessert. Very reasonable prices, and BYOB is an added bonus.

Excellent local Italian diner. Their menu is simple and delicious. We enjoyed their chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs, walnut salad, and their Caesar salad special. Notably, their Caesar salad was incredibly creamy and one of the best my foodie wife and I have ever had, and we hope they will add it to their permanent menu.

Oh goodness I love ZIO LUIGI!
Besides the fact that the restaurant has my name, which is a honor already, but the food is incredibly delicious!
The atmosphere is cozy, like a nice, warm trattoria.
The pasta dishes are good portions and they are going to fill you up well.
We went to celebrate Woman's Day with my wife and she got the tagliatelle al ragù bolognese and it was divine! It tasted like Italy, it could have been done by my mom!
I got the special, which was made with panda cream, green peas and small pieces of cooked prosciutto ham. My mom used to make this recipe with tortellini; it was a filled pasta dish without broth, but cream, ham and peas. I had it with rigatoni and it was amazing; I felt home!
Also, rigatoni is the best pasta; they go well with any sauce and if the sauce has chunks of food (like Amatriciana), a rigatoni would catch the chunk and you can enjoy the whole combination of flavors, so... go rigatoni, go!
I recently moved in the area and now I know where I will get my Italian food from this moment on: thank you, ZIO LUIGI!

I love this place. There are so many great dishes and the taste is always consistent. Jimmy has been my server every time I’ve dined in over the last 5 years. Small and cozy vibe. Food is fantastic!
Note: they do not serve alcohol but you can byob.

Wonderful dinner at this spot. I would definitely come again to try other plates. Our server was very courteous. Priced just right! Felt intimate going here.
