We orderer Pork dumplings and sushi our option was Crispy shrimp , California, Philadelphia , Dragon and Sunnyside .. The sushi looked good and tasted good. our favorite was the dragon option. The dumplins were pork and were good in flavor and size. We also ordered a small miso flavored soup that was also delicious. For dessert I recommend march mochi with ice cream. We had good service and the atmosphere was friendly.
The food was great, and tasted good. I came here for soup (Ramen) and I loved it, I had the spicy one.
Food: The quality of the food was good but could been better.
Service: Our server was very sweet who kept checking us to see how we were doing.
Overall, it was a cozy environment, food was good and the service was great. Dragon roll was so goood 😋
I would give them 20 stars if I could. I wasn't even hungry when I wandered into this place, I just wanted something small and simple before I call it a day. I ended up finishing all these and I left with an extra order of takeout in my hand. This is how good this place is. Authentic menu, super nice and friendly staff. Utterly amazing experience.
Overall, Ariyoshi is a restaurant where you can find friendly staff and average food. Servings are a lot, so if you're in Sunnyside looking to have some quick Japanese food, you can drop by here and eat, have some Sake too.
This is one of owe favorite restaurants !" We are here a least once a week .
We both like sushi !"
And order it all the time . . . . . .
The waiters and waitresses are always very nice .
They keep on coming back to owe tables . To fill up owe mugs of tea . And ask if everything is ok . It's always nice to be there . . . I like useing chopsticks . It sets you apart from the people who can't use them .
I come here often because I'm a big fan of the food: miso soup, tempura, negimaki, udon, etc.
Really nice low key atmosphere. It's nice to have a conversation without struggling to hear over other loud diners. I've noticed a lot of dates here. It's all so good!
Sushi not bad at all but, I ordered Pork teriyaki and it was too tuff to cut or chew.
My fav Japanese place in this neighborhood, take out special is so cheap but suuuuppppeeerrr good, I always order curry chicken katsu don, I can never be tired of it, it’s just too good, curry sauce looks like nothing, but all the sensational flavor explodes in your mouth, fried chicken is so tender and juicy, how can I not love it!
So happy I have an authentic Japanese place, I never like fusion places, the price is good food is great, recommended ~~~~
So first of all, the service is great. The atmosphere of the place is very cozy and nice. No reservations required. You get seated right after you walk in. They have a pretty long menu with a lot of choices. They prices are great. The first time I walked in, I thought it would be an expensive place so I walked out because it looked too nice. The place is clean. I am happy i stayed the 2nd time. You get warm green tea for free. They have a lunch special. The food was delicious and affordable. It was not greasy or salty. Season perfectly. With appetizer, my lunch , taxes and tip, I spent $20 which is a great deal. All the food my friend and I got was delicious. The servers were friendly. The food came out quick and was presented nicely. They do not waste time. I would definitely go back and also recommend it. The place is also WHEELCHAIR accessible. The bathroom is clean. The stir fry udon noodles with shrimps was delicious. The tempura was great. This is one of the good restaurants on queensboro and there are quite a lot of them. If you like Japanese food and you are in the neighborhood, please try it.
