HIDDEN GEM - went in for late lunch this past Sunday and was pleasantly surprised and you will be too. This place has excellent food. We had the fried calamari with a homemade spicy tomato sauce and lemon wedges for an appetizer, my wife had the spaghetti and meatballs that were made fresh that day and I had the signature burger. The calamari was Fried to perfection, not greasy just the right amount of batter I would have a hard time making this at home. My wife’s pasta was cooked al dente and the meatballs were really tasty and generous they tasted fresh with excellent meat quality. My burger was a half pound expertly cooked with Swiss cheese, perfectly cooked bacon avocado sauteed mushrooms a thick slice of tomato and fresh green lettuce thank God not iceberg in a really delicious brioche bun(add pickled jalapeños) , the shoestring fries were FRESH not greasy at all and everything came out really hot. I have to tell you this burger was better than the great Dane or the old fashioned or any of those Gourmet burger pubs - we had capital Amber and get this “frosted mugs” We live very close to downtown Madison and now when I want a really good burger I’m gonna have to drive to Sun Prairie (such is life) The owners pictured framed a local newspaper review they received march 2022 The food critic gave them an excellent score - we wholeheartedly agree!!!!

Very good food that was cooked as ordered. Staff was very pleasant as well. Definitely would recommend this place.

This is our family’s favorite breakfast place because the pancakes and sausage gravy are so good, but if you’re there for lunch or dinner be sure to try the Italian food! Their pasta dishes and the chicken parm sandwich are delicious. The house salad with vinaigrette is a perfect addition to any meal, so is the homemade chili. Friendly staff and great food!
