Branks Bbq & Catering

Had the BBQ chips and they were really good, just a lot of coleslaw and little meat. Wife had the brisket dip sandwich and it looked and tasted better than my pulled pork. Portions are actually pretty small for the price, but I might be spoiled from living in the South and smoking my own meals. Service was friendly, but not overly prompt...but they were busy at 5 on a Saturday. Summary:. Wasn't bad, but wouldn't make a special trip out here for the food. * The family meals looked pretty legit, would go that route next time

Good service. Good food. I had the pulled chicken sandwich with coleslaw and sweet potato waffle fries. Perfectly cooked fries! No ketchup needed. Would've liked a little more slaw. Husband had the brisket dip with a side salad and Mac. He doesn't usually like BBQ joints sandwiches, but this one he liked. Worth it if you're in the area to check it out! Messy, like good BBQ is. We both chose the sweeter sauce over the spicy sauce to put on our sandwiches and we really liked it. Only "complaint" (if we're being picky- Would've liked another napkin available, or wet wipes at the end.

I had Branks for the first time at our holiday Christmas party and it was terrible. The brisket was chewy and slightly leathery. The pulled pork tasted burnt, like it had been left in a pan for too long. The potato casserole was also burnt and not seasoned very well. The Mac n cheese tasted also bland with no flavor. The muffins were dry. I very rarely try bbq restaurants because it's always hit or miss. I couldn't believe this was even catered honestly. I'm not sure if it was an off day, if they're short staffed or what the happened. Super disappointed

Their salad was fantastic. We did a large group of 25+/- and they accommodated us in their back room. Very spacious. Kid friendly! The waitress had no issues with our kiddos being kids! Since we had the whole back room (no tables aside from ours), the kids were doing cartwheels & walking around freely while the parents talked. It was perfect. The waitress did a fantastic job & was great with knowing who ordered what! Very impressive! The food was drool-worthy!! SO GOOD!! I enjoyed every bite! Their corn bread is so moist & delicious!

The BBQ is good, specifically the meat (for some context, I grew up in the PNW and haven’t experienced southern BBQ before so I can’t make the comparison). The sides are pretty mediocre. The weird part of our experience was the service. We walked in and the place totally feels like a strange Mexican restaurant and a banquet hall. No servers or back of house staff were wearing masks. The severs were also dressed in all black and long flowy skirts? It was weird, guys. Our server was nice but acted scared or something. I don’t know. The plating of the food was pretty cafeteria like, but the food tasted good though. Price was okay. Something possibly worth mentioning is that it’s very . . . white. Needless to say, my husband and I stood out like sore thumbs. The whole place just had “Get Out” vibes (if you know, you know). Final verdict: Get take out.
