I wish I could have given 5 stars cause the staff are so super nice but the food wasn't five star. It was four, tho. Their egg rolls weren't my fave and the sweet sour soup was super sour. Did not taste good. Cream cheese wontons were straight cream cheese, nothing else, so they weren't great either. Everything else was good tho.

I got the broccoli and tofu tonight. It was amazing. I’ve had this tofu dish from at least 10 different places in the area and China Express by far prepares tofu the best.

The food off the menu is very inconsistent, the food off the buffet was not very good. I've eaten here three times and out of the three only one time would really be mentionable.

I was in the area shopping and really wanted Chinese. There were a couple of places but thankfully picked this one for lunch. The food was hot, fresh, and very tasty. The waitress was very friendly and prompt.
I'm definitely coming back and bringing friends.
The buffet had so much different options and very clean. It's over an hour away but it's worth it to me!

Was in Summerville shopping and found this place for lunch, what an amazing buffet! It was excellent, fresh, and staff was attentive and very friendly! A definite place anyone who likes Chinese should put on their list! It was Soo good we're bringing a friend next time we go! Amazing 👍

This use to be my favorite Chinese buffet back before Covid. They had lots of good choices including some of the best Kimchi you could find in the whole Charleston area. Well, then came along Covid, they shut the buffet down and we're the very last Chinese restaurant around that offered a buffet to reopen the buffet.
So, I was so excited that they were reopening the buffet, so I had to go especially since it was my favorite. Well, needless to say, I was very disappointed ☹️. Not only did they not have that great tasting Kimchi no longer, they actually cut out a lot of the dishes they had before Covid. No where near the selections as previously but they still were charging the same price if not more.
So, I made a decision to take my business elsewhere, across town to their competition. Many more choices and for the same price.
