Was in the mood for Greek food tonight and this place did not disappoint. Authentic, delicious and a fabulous staff who hosted an excellent experience. It was take out, but they were so attentive and helpful. I'm definitely going back.....the Gyro was fresh and tasty and the falafel was probably the best I've ever had. Check them out!

This is my top five restaurants in Charleston! I have been all over the world and this is very authentic Greek food. This is a mom-and-pop restaurant like you will never find again. I am a repeat customer and I will always be a repeat customer. We need more wonderful restaurants like Opa Cafe!

The food was incredible! I will be honest, I was deterred for a long time due to the restaurant’s location and the sign isn’t holding up too well, but the restaurant has a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere! The servers are incredibly friendly! The food is very authentic and reminds me of my grandmothers cooking when I was a kid! A must for any mediterranean food enthusiast or any one looking for a delicious dinner some where new.

I get food to go for myself at least twice a month from here, for the past 10 + years. Today, I got a Greek chicken salad to go. When I opened it, I noticed it looked... off. Just, not quite right. There was a lot of water in it, which is really weird, which filled a small coffee cup- like, that's really crazy. But the lettuce also caught my attention. There was extremely fresh lettuce mixed with extremely old lettuce that was so translucent, I thought it was plastic. The kalamata olives were spoiled. The chicken? It was like the lettuce. Not good. This right here told me that Opa Cafe is deteriorating fast and this was the nail in the coffin for me. I can always understand rising costs, but there is NO justification in serving spoiled & old food. Opa has given up.

Currently Takeout Only. I heard of them from a coworker. Great mom-and-pop type restaurant. Will be back for more falafel, Greek salad, and baklava. They also have specialty Greek sodas— yum!

delightful place! The Food is delicious. Definitely comming back for more hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and falafel.. the season fries are fantastic.. highly reccomend this place! I'm vegan and it's a challenge to find vegan options and they have it..

Great food. I had the Greek salad in pita and my wife had the falafel platter. It was all so good. Nice place, they have definitely adopted the Greek colors in the restaurant. They l also have some outdoor seating. Service was very good. The bathrooms were very clean, which I think translates into a clean kitchen.

Stopped by early just for coffee and what a nice place. Owners are actually from Greece!
Checked the menu, looks varied, authentic and reasonable.
Looked around inside (see my pics and LIKE them, ok?) And all clean, well appointed and inviting. I'll be back!
