Came here for live music on Thursday. Lovely. The saxophonist DID HIS THING! Very talented. We didn't order food, only had mozzarella sticks. They were fresh out the grease, very hot. Service was exponential, our waiter was attentive, prompt, and polite. Beautiful venue inside and out. Small space so be sure to make a reservation.

I had the lamb chops which I thought at $48 was pricey but they were cooked to perfection and it was a good size portion. The shrimp pasta was said to be very good by one in our party. We watched with wide eyes and mouths open the whole red snapper being served at another table along with the stuffed wings. When we asked our server for recommendations, he warned that the red snapper was for a HUNGRY person. The live music ministry as good but a little loud for dinner. I definitely would enjoy a repeat visit sitting at the bar with libation and appetizers.

I had a few problems with reservations and the person that took the reservation but, this was worked out on the morning of the reservation before arrival...my first time at this establishment and to say the least, I was amazed at the atmosphere...upon arrival I and my party were greeted graciously and escorted to our table and introduced to our waitress of the evening...the guest of the evening was very late but, we worked everything out so everyone was served at the same time and not have the staff waiting around endlessly on our group. The food arrived in a timely fashion giving a very beautiful presentation...not only was the presentation beautiful but, the food was hmmm good...the atmosphere was very relaxing and luxuriously comfortable...we were there celebrating a Birthday for Sunday Brunch and had the Lamb Chops with Lobster Tail, asparagus, scrambled eggs, mash potatoes and a side of Blackened Shrimp...Shrimp and Grits with a Crab Ball in the middle side of eggs, bacon and shared French Toast, Fish and Grits, Chicken and French Toast...these photos will tell it all...we will be back to try out the Dinner Menu...

In all honesty, the food was good.... The ambiance was nice, but the service was questionable. Even tho the establishment was not crowded, there were long delays with our waiter. After reading the reviews, I can understand other's feelings and the rating on the service. Overall I'm comfortable with giving The Roof a 4 star. I would suggest that they tighten up on the response time to their customers. Other than that, I'm willing on visiting again. I enjoyed the music, I enjoyed the food and I enjoyed the view. This is a beautiful restaurant that truly needs to live up to it's full potential.

We enjoyed brunch at The Roof on Sunday, we had a reservation but sat at the Bar. The waitress/bartender was very attentive and personable! She offered the Bottomless Mimosas which were $18/pp and perfect! The ambience was perfect and they were social distancing. I initially order the Shrimp n Grits, which I had to return. I wasn't too fond of the sauce and it resembled chicken soup..as well as it wasn't plated good. They gladly replaced my meal with the Crab Cake Benedict and that was absolutely delicious and filling. I also had a side of Bananas Foster French toast and it was also delicious. My only suggestion would be to brown the Bananas some in butter because they just cut up the Bananas and threw them on top. We also ordered the Chicken and Waffles, that also was delicious and plated beautifully! We'll be back!

I must say this place was AMAZING! My husband and I attended a birthday party here a few years ago, and I can’t say I would have given the same review. My girls and I decided we wanted to have brunch somewhere nice, jazzy, and classy 😉. From the time we entered we received excellent service from the hostess (we were seated right away), waitress (food came out within 10/15 mins after ordering and she checked on us often) and most of all the bartender (amazing mixologist). My husband and I will definitely visit here again! 🤗

This was a nice pick for sunday brunch. The DJ was on point the seating is comfortable. I saw a bar but there was no seating there. I recommend making a reservation. Below we have shrimp and grits, lamb chops and eggs, and the crab cake eggs benedict. Everyone at the table loved their food. The crab cake was my dish. I wish my egg was a little more runny when I cut into the top sauce was flavorsome it made the biscuits really come to life. The grits were cooked to perfetion as was the shrimp. Overall a little pricey for brunch but they excell at producing the few menu items offered. Go for bottomless Mimosa for 18 dollars, thats the wins because 2 cost the same price. Its too hot to not have umbrellas and fans outside on the deck so we will revisit in the winter when its more pleasant.
