Live Oak Grill has the best chicken fried chicken ever! I will not eat chicken fried chicken anywhere else. It is the best hands down! The service is fast and the employees are friendly. Live Oak Grill is one of my favorite restaurants. I would definitely recommend it!
We don't live in the Houston area, but when were in Katy, we will make Live Oak a must stop. Great place all around. Great food. Not fancy. But if you leave hungry, it's your own fault.

This is one of my favorite places! You can’t go wrong for brunch, lunch, dinner. Their food is very tasty. Their staff is nice and they always accommodate food allergies. Me and my family always enjoy coming here. It’s so cute and quaint their decor is unique so nice for pictures. Such a great place.
Great local restaurant. It’s a little out-of-the-way. However, there’s a huge menu. We went for brunch, and everyone was able to find some thing that they wanted. This is southern comfort food. I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was fried perfectly. They have a great play place and patio for the kids. The food came out quickly. Would absolutely go back. Great casual dining.
This place has that warm small town BBQ charm. The moment you pull up you are greeted with a nice rustic look and amazing smells of comfort food cooking! The chicken fried steaks are big normally but if you get the large make sure to expect a large oval plate sized steak! The food is amazing and I can't wait to go back to try more off the menu!

Live oak wasn’t introduced to me until I worked only 5 mins away from it 10 years ago. I was so surprised that such a neat spot was under my nose the entire time! The food is great and I never had a complaint during the time I was near them when I was at that job.
Fast forward to now… I’m here waiting for a to go order and I still have the same happy vibes I got during lunch hr seeing all the employees who like me enjoyed this place.
Price wise it’s gone up but that’s to be expected as things are now. For it’s worth the prices are still a great value.
Today I ordered the old fashion burger and got it medium well. It came out and was delicious ! I ate it so quickly I contemplated a second order (good thing my lunch break is short.)
I can’t wait for my next opportunity to swing by here.
The restaurant has a rustic look and is very much a Texan home vibe or ranch vibe. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I can during peak lunch hrs and it gets busy !

Went on two occasions before leaving a review. Last weekend the breakfast was delicious, bacon was good, eggs were real, biscuit was on point. We also got the chicken and waffles, interestingly they put bacon in the waffle batter, that was really good. Today we went again and my wife really liked her breakfast. I got the ribeye steak sandwich, the sandwich was amazing. Highly recommend this place, the portions are big the food has been fresh and tasty. Definitely better than big chain restaurants.
This is definitely Sugar Lands gem! So good homey food! Service was fast and a little crazy but that’s because the people know where to be at! I will definitely be back especially for the house beans 😋
Stopped by Live Oak Grill after church this morning and it didn't disappoint. The food tastes fresh and homemade. My husband and son ordered the chicken fried steak with fries, Mac and cheese and a biscuit and I ordered grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. I am very picky about my chicken, LOG's chicken was cooked to perfection, it had great flavor, was juicy and tender. Sooo, delicious! We will definitely be returning more often.
This was our first time here! My daughter picked a place at random for lunch, and this was the lucky winner today. This place did not disappoint. It is a cute, quaint little place with unique decorations inside and out. This place even has a dog friendly patio. (No dogs were present while we were here). We are glad to have gotten here and ordered when we did because this place got busy and full quick!!! My daughter got the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans and I got a pulled pork sandwich. We added curly fries and onion rings to our order. The food did not disappoint! Everything tasted so good! Glad she chose this place today. We will be back!

My first time there for breakfast and it’s now on my favs list. The amount of food for the price is fair and fulfilling. Everything tasted great and it didn’t take long to receive order. I’ll be back!
