Panera Bread

Picked up a curbside order today right before going home on break. I work open to close at a restaurant and usually eat on my break, but not again until after work around 11. I spent a quarter of my break time picking up the food, only to come home and the fruit cup I paid extra to have as my side is moldy! A super moldy strawberry! I called in and they could only give me credit for the fruit cup or come back to replace it. I do not have time to go back. I believe they should have offered me MORE credit seeing as this could've caused me a health issue. Especially since I have a preexisting blood disorder and a rare lung disease and get very sick easily. They are lucky I was paying attention. Do better, Panera.

I have to admit Panera salads are very good and filling and good for those that are calorie conscious. Their cinnamon crunch bagels are to die for and their bakery items are generally good. However, the Panera's I go to never fill their hazelnut coffee urn, the decaf is usually stale or burnt, they never check their cream containers to see if they are filled and aside from Cinnamon Crunch and Asiago Cheese bagels their bagels taste like cardboard. C'mon Panera, do a better job. I know you can!

Excellent meals for the three of us. My vegan sister-in-law found a wonderful meal, I had their breadbowl of soup, and my husband had what he considers the best mac and cheese. I had the idea to get a bowl of soup to go to finish the breadbowl. The lady behind the counter ran around the kitchen to make sure we had a large enough container for left-over salad, a plastic bag for the breadbowl, and a well-sealed container for the second soup.She went above and beyond what I or anyone else would expect.
