River Stone Chophouse

Great decor, service was friendly but mediocre, I was seated at the lounge/bar side. They have different specials depending on the day of the week. Monday was $1 oysters and wow, they exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend. Had the duck for entree, it was about what I'd expect for the cost. The duck itself was delicious but the accompaniments did not compliment it as well as I'd hoped. I'd definitely return.

Oh my goodness, such an amazing experience. From start to finish, this was absolutely perfect. The food, amazing. The ambience, amazing. The drinks, amazing. Our waiter Rachel was so pleasant and knowledgeable, we couldn’t thank her enough. I would personally shake the chefs hand if I could. First time here with my husband for my birthday and I had the greatest time. The price point is reasonable for the level of service and the quality of food given.

So we decided to finally checkout River Stone in Harbour View. This place is nice customers service was outstanding from. The minute we walked in the door. The wait staff was professional, courteous, and attentive. The food was on point. my wife both got steak with sides of mac and cheese broccoli, collards and mash potatoes and bread pudding for dessert. We enjoyed the entire meal... Bill was a lil pricey but hey you get what you pay for right The pictures are the bread pudding with ice cream and the the 8oz filet stuff with Lobster and crab

We had a large party go to River Stone for dinner after a work conference in Suffolk. We went two consecutive nights and the steaks were delicious both times. They accommodated us to make it a wonderful experience for our group. Fallon and Dana were superb servers for us. A++ recommended restaurant for fine dining.

My new fine dining restaurant and well worth the price! I like to dress Business casual but I've seen less. Outside seating by the fire place is beautiful when the weather is nice. Oyster Monday's is not my thing but I know people who love it. Great spot for business meetings, anniversaries and more. A gem at its finest!

Great place for a nice romantic dinner. Be prepared to spend more $$ than at a regular restaurant. Keeping mind that this is an upscale restaurant. Drinks are expensive but they have drinks you won't get anywhere else and both drinks I had were very flavorful, very good. The food is a bit expensive but is usually A1. I had the meatloaf this time and it was just ok. But as always, the atmosphere and service was great.

I wanted so badly to be impressed. We are new to the area and I was craving steak. The atmosphere is wonderful. The service is amazing. We had crab dip as an appetizer, and it was really good. The steak- was not great. Their cuts are beautiful but my steak was so bland and overcooked. I ordered a medium and it was at least medium well. There was no flavor at all and the consistency was rubbery. I couldn’t eat it. The sides were great. We had mashed potatoes and green beans. I saw the next table over had ordered a huge seafood spread. I’d love to go back and try that sometime, but I’ll never go here for steak again.

So many people have recommended it so we went for my birthday today. I will say the atmosphere is nice. Waitress Joanne was good. The food had no seasoning what so ever. This includes the appetizer and the meal. No salt, pepper, garlic, onion, old bay, lemon, rosemary absolutely NONE! The wine and tea was good as well.
