Cheng's Gourmet

PLEASE step up customer service & food quality. I've been going (and my family) to this place since the previous owners. Years & years. I'd say this Chinese is Eh, just ok. I've recently tried Chinese just over the Enfield/Suffield bridge & another place in Enfield & sadly it was loads better than here. I'd much rather stay close & in town so I am kinda forced to buy from here. If you can drive over bridge I would recommend that. This place is kinda expensive & I'd rather spend my money on quality & drive a little ways. Really wish the owners would just step it up a bit. Customer service could also be improved. It wasn't until I ran into owner at Dunkin Donuts that they finialy warmed up to my family. Try another Chinese place & then try this place & you'll understand my 2 star rating.

Have you ever been forced with no other choice but to order the General's Chicken from the food court in the mall? All batter and NO chicken? The mall would have been better than the garage I just picked up from Chengs in the center of Suffield! In fairness, the white rice was fine as were the 3 small peices of broccoli. I rarely eat take out for this reason but figured the discerning people of Suffield would only support quality. I have never been so wrong!
