Came here to see the NHL playoffs and what a game! Definitely fell out of place being a lightning fan in a Rangers area. I still felt completely welcomed by the staff and I was served well. The food was really good I got some appetizers and a drink and everything was definitely worth it. Close to my house so not a bad drive home!

Today was a beautiful day. I live in North Jersey and I grabbed my camera and started driving. I wasn't sure where I was going to stop for lunch but I ended up passing this place and then made a U-turn and ended up going back to try it. I have always wondered how it was. Although it looks deserted in my photos, there were many people sitting outside enjoying the weather. I chose to sit inside — at the end of the bar near the window. The bartender was taking care of the folks inside and also tending to the people outside and he did a great job. I ordered the French Onion Soup and a Steak Sandwich with Fries. Everything was delicious. The French Onion Soup was GREAT... and I'm pretty picky about my French Onion Soup. The cheese AND the soup itself was delicious. Now, the steak sandwich was NOT a cheesesteak but slices of steak on a roll with cheese on the roll itself. It was very good. I really wasn't sure what to expect but I enjoyed it. Just don't order it, expecting a traditional "cheesesteak". The fries were great and I also ate the coleslaw and the pickle. Man, I was STUFFED.
The bartender said there was parking on the right side of the restaurant but I parked towards the left, which is probably really for the businesses next to the restaurant. Regardless, it was no problem. I would definitely go back and try something different. It was very good.

Our family decided to try it out for Christmas Eve. There’s a wide variety of appetizers, traditional Irish cuisine, sea food, sandwiches, steaks and even Italian food. Prices are terrific in this day and age, especially with the portion size. The service was excellent. Our server Kevin was very attentive to our needs and you can tell he seemed like a great kid overall. He was very efficient in satisfying our needs in terms of drinks, napkins and condiments. The food also came pretty quickly after it was ordered. There was also another lady with short hair that seemed like a manager that was helping him when another few tables showed up to make sure everything was taken care of when he was busy doing something else. It’s great to see that they were working together to make sure everyone was properly taken care of. They found the perfect balance in being quick while not rushing people out the door to flip tables like some restaurants do. Didn’t spend too much paying attention to the bar, but when I went to the bathroom the people seemed welcoming and the bartender was friendly

I’d like to say that iSuffern landmark is a hidden gem butIt really is the same thing it always has been which is a retreat for elderly drunks and marginal food at best.. they’ve made the place look nicer and they giving it an extensive and impressive menu and really made it a comfortable place to hang out so it’s got a lot of things going for it.
It used to have a charming appeal which was your classic Irish dive bar complete with Irish bartender off the boat.
I swear to you this time it look like little Italy exploded and every loudmouth drugs Italian guy had to compete with each other to see who could drown out all semblance of thought by the volume of them telling tales of days gone bye.
I don’t think I’ve ever been in bar where the volume was so loud that I literally had to leave. Keep in mind that this is the volume of multiple people yelling at multiple tables just so that they can scream louder then the people at the other tables.
Owner is a great guy tried to make things right but the service and general meh of the food was meh…..
While it seemed that they had plenty of it took me three requests to get some gravy and a fork.

Best corn beef sandwich and Reubens. The mozzarella sticks are also a fantastic choice.
The staff is wonderful and you can easily lose track of time watching the games, having a freshly poured beer, and talking with the staff.
Place is always clean, staff always attentive, I have been to many bars and pubs around the country this is the spot to be.

Great food, inexpensive, good portions of food, friendly atmosphere, the help is very friendly .only complaint I had ordered empanadas which I loved but they were pricey 2 for 8.95. I think you should get at least 4 for that price .I used to go to a place in town that recently closed and got 1 for only a 1.00. They were the same size as the ones at Curlys.Update Went to here April 3rd for a Belated Birthday .Sorry I miss the owner the owner Mike great guy.

I had the Salmon, & it was delicious...I chose Stringbeans & Sweetpotatoe Fries with it.
My companion had the Pork Chops...which were huge & half got packed & taken home.
