First time walking in since they moved. Best place to eat sushi in Rockland County hands down. The food is so fresh. The people are nice and helpful. I recommend and will keep coming back for more. Thanks!
Great vibe and sushi. The Eastern, Tristate, Hamachima, and Play Suffern rolls were all top quality. Service could've been a little faster but the server was excellent and the food made up for it. A little pricier than a Google search leads you to believe, though. I'll be going back for sure.
My family loves coming here for special occasions. The dishes are pricey but we all agree the high quality sushi they serve is worth it! Their lychee martini is amazing and I love their Bamboo sushi roll. There is something for everyone on the menu and they also do a lunch special.
The ambiance is wonderful, the best in the area dare I say. It makes you feel like you’re at a hip, modern sushi restaurant in NYC. The servers are incredibly nice and attentive. It’s always a little busy so be sure to make a reservation during peak hours.
Good sushi for a reasonable price. We usually order the sushi for 2 and the amount is just perfect. They also have excellent cocktails.

Fair, the atmosphere is great for a romantic date, but too much for a family, tables are very small, and prices are quite expensive, portions are small. Service is good, nice bar. The restaurant is very clean. Very unique way to serve the tuna tart 😋
Absolutely delicious! We destroyed some sushi! We unfortunately had a waitress spill a beer all over one of the people in our party, but they did make it right.
Very busy and intimate restaurant. You best make a reservation. Well stocked small bar. Very fresh sushi but also other things if you prefer. Salads or salmon you won't be sorry. A little pricey but worth it
Sushi Bada is our favorite place is Suffern. Our go to items are the kimchi fried rice, and the play bada roll (roll that's flaming in 2nd pic). The sushi rolls we get are always fresh and delicious. The kimchi fried rice is perfection with flavor. I love the ways its presented.
One of my all time favorite sushi places! When I dream of my last meal this would probably be it. The Play Suffern has to be the best roll I’ve ever had. They even light it on fire in front of you! But it warms the salmon perfectly. You also wouldn’t know how cool this place is from the outside. The first time I walked in I felt like I walked into a trendy NYC restaurant. Reservations are probably a good idea if you can get them. The wait can be long on weekends! I have also ordered pick up with no problem. Rolls are always consistent. And even though I don’t live in the area anymore this will be a stop when I’m passing through.
The best sushi I've ever had... simply amazing. Great staff, too!
I was very lucky to find this place coming back from a work trip. It's unassuming in downtown Suffern, but you walk in and know it's going to be great.
I highly recommend the Play Suffern roll, the Trust Me and any dessert.
On top of that, every roll we've ever ordered has been amazing... if only this place were closer to the city!
Edit: Still the best. Simply unreal
