Stopped in for lunch on our first day in Door County. My kind of place. It’s a bar; nothing fancy. Burgers were great. Drinks were very well-priced. Bartender knows his job and does it well. Overall, I highly recommend Poh’s for food and drinks (and atmosphere, if you’re not the “ I want to see and be seen” type).
Food was pretty good, would go here again. However our chicken tenders, fries and cheese curds took a while to be served to us. Plus they were out of chicken wings. Furthermore, the environment of the place was very welcoming and friendly. Music was nice, prices were good, and owners were kind as well.
A local gem for local yocals. Poh’s playfully pushes back on the out-of-state tourism typical door county/sturgeon bay attracts. If your goal is to find a great dive-bar with a menu special that’ll make ya laugh and leave a lasting impression, look no further & leave a generous tip.
The music is loud, but it was an excellent sound system. Only wish was that there was an old-fashioned juke box, but I’m sure those are expensive to maintain.
Good bar, owners are awesome! Gets a bit crowded at night though. Decent burgers too!
Great friendly, old-fashioned Wisconsin pub. Pretty good bar food. Good jukebox. Nice customers. Reasonably-priced drinks. Even a decent selection of mid-grade whiskies. Loved this place. Five stars for being great at what it is. Don't expect a dozen craft brews on tap here. This is a Bud/Miller kind of place with maybe one other option, like New Glarus Spotted Cow on tap.
Nice little place to sit and have a cold beer. Friendly bar tenders but unfortunately grill was already closed at 6pm with the only option of pizza. But I still would come back for a few frosty mugs of beer!
