Amazing Thai, very spicy.. The Thai food here is simply amazing. Nice quiet little place depending on the time you go. Just a warning though they use freshly cut peppers they grow for their hot star system. So if you're used to ordering 3 stars at other Thai locations, I would recommend a 2 star. But the food is amazing.
Fresh sushi, nice atmosphere, super slow service. Perhaps they were down a couple servers? We will try again, it was that good.
Highly recommend this GEM!. We were referred to this gem by a friend of ours just two weeks ago and WOW! We loved it! Recently while friends were visiting on vacation, we took a SUSHI trip to this four star delight. We had such a great meal, service that it has become our go to Sushi place! Amazingly friendly, fun, sometimes limited, but what Sushi bar isn't. My wife loves the Thai menu and can't fathom being bored for several years! Great selection of cooked meals! Definitely a MUST GO and experience.
This restaurant is FABULOUS. We ordered three rolls & crab Rangoon and wow. It was too good. So happy we found this place definitely will be back . If you come across this place and want to try it just do it 👏
We're sushi snobs, and Sushi Yama is our go-to spot in the Stuart area. Owner (and head sushi chef) Chie gets it right, focusing on fresh fish, proper rice preparation, great technique, and beautiful presentation. The classics are all there--tuna, salmon, hamachi, ikura, unagi--and a variety of interesting "special" rolls. And be sure to ask Chie what specials he has that day, from toro to uni to sweet shrimp (if you're more adventurous).
We ordered take out during the pandemic, but we're happy to be back sitting at the sushi bar.
We haven't tried the Thai menu, but Chie is from Chiang Mai, so I'm guessing that he knows quite a bit about the cuisine!
Quick note: remember that sushi takes time to prepare, so as popular as Sushi Yama has been for both take-out and eat-in, you may need to be patient!
The sweetest people ever work here and the fish was the freshest I’ve tasted in awhile. I didn’t even realize I was still there after they closed and they didn’t rush me at all. It appears like they have a lot of regulars and treat everyone like family. Great vibes!
I love this place, I will definitely be back. Very nice staff and food is awesome.
