Was a wonderful experience, would highly recommend it. A surprise from my mother in law for my birthday lunch. The view and the food was great as was our server.
The Sailors Return Resturant is one of the best run Resturants in Stuart. The food is fabulous you must try the Eggplant Stack Appertizer. All the entres are excellent also. The best of all is the sunset over the Marina breathtaking!!!
We were traveling north from Pompano Beach to Jacksonville and saw this place on a Yelp review. Since we were looking for a place for lunch on the water and reviews looked good we gave it a try. We are so glad we did! Initially we were told there would be a 30 minute wait, but that we could check the outside bar area for available seating. We did and found a lovely table under the awning. Best part was that the bartender, Rachel, was also our server. She was simply outstanding! She made us some fantastic Mojitos and made some great menu recommendations. The Mahi fish tacos and Rachel Fish sandwich were superb, the fish being so fresh and tasty. Overall we enjoyed our visit and we're very impressed with the restaurant. Will dine again when we pass that way. Only negative was that the parking lot was slammed full. Complimentary valet parking was helpful.
Great place for a great meal! For the fans, this place is owned by the same guy who owned the jolly sailor in downtown. Fine day for outdoor seating...great staff and wonderful menu. All the dishes looked great and the plates were mostly clean...no surprise there! Give this place a shot...outstanding location on the water and good food...now that's another novelty as most places where there is a fine location don't have the food to match
Love this place. We come by boat. Sailors salad & fish tacos are my fav while fish & chips are Bobs.
I don't understand why they get such a low percentage of Likes. Everytime we go there the service, food, atmosphere, and entertainment is First Class. My guests are always in awe re the ambiance and quality of food. We absolutely love this place.
Nice place. I like the food here. Have never had a bad meal at Sailor's Return. The salads are excellent - LARGE.
The staff are nice and the service is good.
It can get crowded, especially on weekend nights. If you're 20 to 30-something and dating, it's unreal. If you can't meet someone at this place, give up. Ridiculous meat market for young professionals.
The band that played there the last time I went was amazing - excellent tight rock covers.

I had the Mahi Reuben sandwich at lunch and it was great! The portion was generous and the fish was light and flake. I also had the conch fritter appetizer - it was OK, but not great. No valet parking at lunch. Service was first rate.
Sailors return was really good! Their food is delicious and the service is fantastic! The cordon bleu is great and so is the blackened salmon. We will definitely be back! :)
The Best Night Out!. So my husband and I came to this restaurant and we were amazed from beginning to end. We were greeted immediately with great smiles and were treated like we were "extra special guests" by all of the staff. Our server was a man named Miro and he was the best server we have had, he made great suggestions and sold us on things we may not of normally ordered but glad we did because it was delicious! As we sat there we were greeted by Mike, the General Manager and he was extremely nice and seemed to work very hard but took the time out for customers throughout the night. The view was breathless and the band was outstanding! I read some other reviews and felt like these people can not be talking of the same place, if you want a all around great experience go to "The Sailors Return"....we may see you there!
One of my favorite restaurants in the Stuart area. The staff is friendly and the food is great. Try to go when the sunsets...amazing!
I had lunch with the office for a holiday celebration and really enjoyed sitting on the deck by the water. The food was very good and the service was friendly.
Great views, great service but a bit pricey. The food is good but not extraordinary for the price, the times I visited they had a live band which created a great vibe and this is why they received the 4th star. One last thing the millionaire margarita is not worth it, just get a regular one. Enjoy!!
Beautiful lunch with mom who was utilizing walker. Ramp made access easy for her. Staff got her seated right away while I parked the car. Waitress was lovely and very attentive. Food was brought out in a timely basis and was quite good. View is wonderful any time of day and wherever you are seated. Be aware, menu is NOT inexpensive so be prepared! Certainly will go again and highly recommend. Kudos to restaurant staff for their excellent service and perfect food on what was a very crowded day.
Beautiful location to see the water, sunsets, boats and yachts. Service was friendly and good. Food was good but pricey for what it was, although the location and view add value. Appetizers were good, but the eggplant was only average. The crab cake was not huge, but pretty good. The sailor's bread was ok. I had the dinner salmon which was very good and a decent portion. It only came with a small serving of rice. But, all in all it was good and I would order it again. The dessert I had was called "millionaire's cheesecake", and it was wonderful!
This was a good early birthday dinner for my uncle. We really enjoyed everything. Service was great. And the food was tasty and good.
Food was fantastic but a resounding shout out to "Gabe" our waiter, who was so intuitive we felt as if he was reading our minds! Burt Silverman and I went to see the band on Saturday night (which was also very good-The Rocking RX Band, ) Gabe was perfectly attentive and always knew exactly what we wanted. One of the best waiter's we have experienced dining within Florida thus far. Great job Gabe & keep up the good work!
Awe the service for Mother’s Day was terrific. Every mother greeted with a flower. The view by the water was beautiful and the service was FAST. We were in and out with appetizers and entrees within 40 mins.
How do they get it right every time?!?! We’ve been coming here since we moved to Stuart 9 years ago and each time we come, it is consistently amazing! Thank you to a great group of people seen and unseen!
I've been to your restaurant a few times and I love this place. The service is always good as well as the food. However today I was disappointed. I ordered the chicken and fresh fruit salad. I asked the waitress if I could have shrimp with the fruit salad instead of the chicken, she said yes. When I got my bill I was charged the full price for the chicken salad and $14.00 for 3 pcs of shrimp. This just didn't make sense.
