La Tolteca

My friend B.B. said she had some REALLY good Mexican food at La Tolteca & wanted to take me to lunch to which I agreed. The restaurant was nice & cozy. We were seated in a comfy area. The fresh tortilla chips & salsa was nice. The menu had so much choices. It took me a while to even try to make up my mind. I just ended up ordering what my friend ordered because I was totally overwhelmed. When our order was ready.. I could literally hear the Chicken, Shrimp, Steak with veggies sizzling in the cast iron pan as they came out of the kitchen in the gentleman's arms they smelled so tantalizing! It was something to behold! I'm so glad I got what she did!😏 I don't eat rice often, but it was worth it, so full of flavor! I can say I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Even though I couldn't even eat nearly half of it! I ended up taking most of it home which was fine. I must say La Tolteca gets my vote for delicious & delightful Mexican Cuisine!!

Not a fancy place, but it is a casual step up from the regular. Great place for birthday party's with the singing waiters and waitresses.. The food was very good. Lots of selection. The salads for those like me with restricted diets was a very healthy selection.. When I ask for hot sauce? They give me some real good spicy side salsa. The waiter was very nice to as well to accommodate us. My mother is a very complicated order.. Yes, she is the complicated order.

A classic casual Mexican joint with friendly drinks, smiling service, and savory dishes. We feasted on the table-side made guacamole with salty crisp tortilla chips, washed down with “beergaritas” and Sprite. The shrimp quesadilla was generous and hot, the vegetarian fajitas sizzling, and the kid’s plate made to order. The server was loquacious and caffeinated, and the tables and restrooms clean. Wish we had time to post up at the bar and watch the game. Strong recommend if you’re traveling through the area.

Food - homemade style authentic Mexican restaurant. Many options for vegan and vegetarian food. Their drinks menu has lots of verity. In-house hot sauce with chips were delicious. Service- pretty quick service, though I went during off peak hours. But servers were helpful on deciding the order. Atmosphere - feels like you are in Mexico 👍🏻 I recommend this place.

The food here is no doubt tasty, especially the nachos. However, it’s important to keep in mind that the meals served are not exactly traditional/authentic. If you come in with the understanding that the menu is Americanized, you will likely enjoy your experience. The service is great and very easily accommodated our party, even with a baby.
